We stayed here for four days and had two rooms on the top floor. Even thought it is located by the airport, this hotel is very quiet.The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our king room with a comfortable corner chair and flat screen TV. The other room was a queen and even though we didn't need it to be, it was handicapped accessible with a large bathroom. Daily breakfasts were great. We found the location to suit our needs as we were visiting south Austin.

The location is not bad for the price...

When we entered, there was nobody at the front desk for check-in so we had to wait for 5-10 mins until we entered a door and requested someone inside.
We were given a handicapped accessibility room, may be because ours was a last minute reservation for new years (plus point - big room/bathroom, minus point - bathroom got wet as there was no bathtub)

It is just 10 min drive to downtown Austin. there is a gas station right near the hotel.

Their breakfast is good but the omlettes & burgers didn't have veggie options.

Stayed here based on reviews and needing to stay near airport and the Hilton was sold out - wow it was not what I expected from reading the reviews- the hotel is really dated for being less than 5 years old - the hallways rugs are stained and dirty - the room itself was standard Hampton from a while back - none of the new paint schemes or furniture - the whole hotel was just OK but not what I expected from the reviews listed - the front desk staff left something to be desired - there are a lot of hotels near the airport - you want nothing special then stay here.

Hampton Inn and Suites: Near Airport, Austin Texas. Nice place quiet and comfortable. Suits are nice and medium size. But very nice. Wet Bar, couch, glass coffee table, and comfortable chair in room facing TV with King Bed (referring to room 419) Small TV flat screen 32’’, but viewable from all corners of room. Lots of channels to enjoy!
Air conditioner and fan work great, room cools down quickly. Was 91 today and room cooled down quickly! Good lighting in bath and shower works as expected. This evening Tuesday Sept 6th free snack/meal was excellent. Chicken and Gravy with beer and wine. Chips salsa and biscuits . Chicken was actually excellent done nicely! with mashed potatoes and gravy. Beer ,wine and nice assortment of teas and coffee. Not may restaurants around here but C store in front of hotel with water snack supplies etc. Breakfast, all snack meals excellently done. Nice Lobby, Pool open all night.
Business desk in room for business travelers. Over all a very nice quaint medium sized room . Comfortable and clean. Not as updated as some of the new Hampton Suites but very nice.! ( When in AZ, try Chandler AZ Hampton Inn and suites this is an updated idea of what I mean.)
All amenities in room. Popcorn. bottled water. Tea assortment and coffee maker with small fridge and Microwave .
Cozy and clean........ all a traveler needs from a long days travel.
Shuttle to and from Airport , excellent service from front desk from Angel and Travis and others on arrival.
Overall, Clean comfortable and nice........ Worked for me! Rested well!
I would stay here again.
