I have never been so shocked by a hotel room as I was by the one that was given to us on a recent trip to Austin. As we entered the room, we noticed it smelled extremely musty. Then we noticed what looked like very strange wallpaper. To our horror, we saw it was mold, having covered at least 30-40% of the walls. We made a quick retreat and went back to reception, where we were only told by reception that "it's listed as clean." A truly unique experience that I would not wish on anyone. The health officials should be called in on this one. Avoid this place like the plague, especially if you value your respiratory system, and your safety. The other guests looked very sketchy, at best.

I have stayed here 3 times. I keep coming back because it's an amazing deal for the price. The location is off the main interstate just north of downtown with easy access to 2 other highways that can take you anywhere in Austin easily. The rooms are simple, but clean and equipped with coffee makers, microwaves, and refrigerators. The grounds are pretty with 2 courtyards, 1 with a pool and the other with a sitting courtyard. No matter where you stay within the property, it's close proximity to the parking lot, and I feel safe here. The hotel staff is friendly, professional and helpful. There's coffee in the lobby and a computer to use. This hotel has everything I need during my trips, and the greatest perk of all is the price. I highly recommend it.

This is where I frequently stay in Austin due to the low cost and clean, simple rooms. This trip, I left an item in the room and called about it. The desk staff was able to track it down and I picked it up on my way out of town. Thanks!
