“As Good As It Gets At This Price!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 July 2011

I stayed here while waiting for my lease to start at the apartment I would soon call home and to be honest, I wasn't expecting anything like this. The room was clean, the front desk was more than helpful, the surrounding area was so quiet, all the essential amenities were on hand and all at an incredibly affordable price. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody who is in between leases or needs a place to stay for more than a few days at a very reasonable price.

“Filthy,smoky,moldy”

My budget was to find a clean place under 70 dollars a day and saw this place on hotwire.com with good ratings!!!!

The moment I walked into my room there was a strong ashtray, dusty, old smell. Still the front desk personel kept insisting it was a non smoking room.

Bed was bumpy with depressions and a thin mattress pad on top trying to cover up. Does not help.

Kitchen area and Restroom had a peculiar awfull smell with rusty, black stains on the bath tub.

Nothing provided in the restroom or kitchen area.

An outdated TV with hardly 20 channels. Nothing worth mentioning in them.

The worst experience was waking up with a sorethroat/strep throat upon inhaling this dusty, smoky air all night. (I've been travelling 7-8 times a month and its been a couple of years since I've had something like this).

Internet was very slow while charging a fee of $5.

I was told that this place allots the worst vacant rooms for customers booked through 3rd party.

Its a genuine customer review and would not be surprised if I see a few following reviews with excellent ratings about this hotel to makeup.

My suggestion, take a look at your room before you book. Can suggest a few places lot lot better in the same area.. but that would make me sound like a business stunt.

Go with renowned names that we hear all over the country...... and I'am sure you would do better.

“Ok for a cheap place to crash if you're on a budget”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2009

It seems like some people here are staying for extended stays. With a room this small that would be irritating. The rating I gave is for the 2* hotel class. 2* hotels can include good chains like Candlewood Suites, or it can include real horrid dives like Crestwood Suites. So I am rating this as average in the 2* class hotel. Did I mention the room is small? As small as anything this side of a New York City hotel. It was just me by myself and it felt cramped, cant imagine if you booked this place with a couple of people.
The room suffers from some 2* hotel wear and tear that is typical of this budget of hotel. A cigarette burn on the carpet. One of the lampshades is torn. One of the lamps didnt work. Old crappy small tv. So if an eye for detail and perfection is something you're after dont stay here. Having said that the room was generally clean, the linens looked clean, the walls had been recently repainted yellow, and the furniture was new and pleasant. There is a full size fridge and cooking utensils in the room.
The front desk lady seemed cordial, at first. The room I was given at first had a serious problem. The A/C unit was making a ridiculous sound like the motor was shot. Also the grille where the air was coming out looked it had been kicked in by someone who got tired of the noise. I know some A/C units are loud in motels and often put up with it but this was broken and intolerable. So I went back to the front desk and explained the situation cordially. She was somewhat rude right off the bat saying they're probably all like that and that I should basically put up with it. I persisted and said if she wanted I could let her listen to the noise and she would see it was broken. So finally she got me a new room. Not exactly putting the customer first!
But here I am in my new room and the A/C is as quiet as a mouse.

Basically to sum up this place is ok as a crash pad to sleep at if you need to stay in town cheaply. For anything else its not recommended. Its small, cramped, and has some rough edges.

I didnt book directly, Hotwire stuck me in here. I wouldnt book here directly even if it was cheap. Though its tolerable for a few days, which is more than you can say for some 2* hotel rooms.

“Great place to stay”

Was very happy with accommodations for the price we paid. Only thing, they don't provide a hair dryer. Room is small but has everything you need. Full size fridge. Air-condition was hitting us full force on bed, but we put a chair in front of it, otherwise we would have froze! Bed was comfortable. We only stayed one night, just passing thru. Would stay again if the price was right.
