Internet didn't work so we had to contact front desk to re-boot server. Just an average older Days Inn.

Room in the process of remodeling, dirty, door locks not safe, lowlifes in parking lot at night, overall very bad experience.

Do NOT stay at the Days Inn South in Austin. I rented a block of 3 rooms for the weekend. Two of the rooms had no cable. In fact, you were not even able to view local channels on one television because it was broken. After letting the office know, they told us the problem was going to be fixed. Well, it was NEVER attended to. Secondly, my dad and I got confronted by what appeared to be a cleaning lady's husband that was just lingering in the hotel's parking lot. After asking the cleaning lady where the soda machines were located, her "husband" came up to us and asked us why we were speaking to his "wife". We told him that we were just asking her where the soda machines were at. He then proceeded to threaten us by repeatedly saying "don't talk to my wife, the Coke machines are right there". Not a very good experience. So, do yourself a favor, and do NOT stay at the Days Inn South in Austin.
