I stayed here during the weekend of September 24, 2011, and was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which was made quite clear on their corporate website. They appear to be redoing rooms from the top-level down, and I was assigned a newly renovated room. It had the sleek, modern design you see in most current hotels...comfy bed, white linens, bright colors, large flat-screen TV. The layout was a bit strange, with LOTS of empty space in the entryway leading back to the sleeping area, but this may have been because it was clearly a handicap-accessible room. I know technically it was a suite because it had a sofa-bed, but it would not have been ideal for those looking to sleep multiple acquaintances to one room...the sofa sat right across from the bed in one large space. I should point out that during their renovation phase, there was quite a bit of grinding and hammering during the day, but this was to be expected. The noise always took place during reasonable hours...maybe 10-4. I kept odd hours, and always left the do not disturb on the door; this was respected throughout my 3 day stay, a fact I greatly appreciate.
All in all, I'd recommend this hotel for its "bang for the buck." Just note that if you are very particular about staying away from hotels being renovated, you'll want to check with the property about the status of this ongoing work. It didn't bother me in the slightest, as I was well aware of it and know that you can often get a good deal on a nice property if you don't mind being a bit accepting of daytime noise.
Room Tip: See above...rooms appear to be undergoing renovation from the top to the bottom.
