The room was acceptable, nothing to write home about. Since it was an 'Inn & Suites' we were expecting a two-room suite (and booked it with that in mind) with a small living area and bedroom. We traveled with our 1 yr old daughter and set up her pack-n-play by the bed so she could sleep. But since there are no 2-room suites we had to sit in the dark on the bed since she was sleeping and couldn't watch TV.
I won't book here again for that very reason.
Oh yeah, I forgot the nastiest part of our stay: the filthy floors!
The rest of the room was ok cleanliness-wise but why don't these hotels ever clean the freaking carpets? I think the photo of my daughter's socks speaks for itself. She wore them for about 45 min only in the hotel room while we were packing to leave. When I picked her up to put on her shoes and saw how disgusting her socks had become in such a short time, I was glad I didn't run around barefoot during our entire stay. GROSS!

We stayed here for one night, it was clean and the staff at reception were friendly. We were pleased with our choice as it was just for the one night and we only needed somewhere to sleep. What more did we need?

Don't depend on GPS finding this hotel. Look for Burnet Rd/Duval Rd Exit. Also ask for a room in the courtyard/pool area. That seems like the nicer area to stay in. More brighter & airy. Our room was on the ground floor in the main bldg closer to the lobby & it felt like we were staying in a little dingy cave. We were planning on staying longer, but 1 night was enough. Restaurants not so close, so we ordered Chinese & had it delivered. We've always enjoyed our stay @ La Quinta because we travel with our dog, but this has been the worst so far.

Traveled to Austin with spouse for a meeting. This motel is very clean and the front desk staff is pleasant and helpful. Room was large with comfortable bed and clean bathroom. I felt safe leaving my vehicle in the parking lot. I would recommend this property to anyone.
