The hotel seems to be new as the area around it is still under construction and landscaping is not complete. It is understaffed, but possibly because of the newness. The staff, when they answered the telephone or came to the front desk, was friendly.
The bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious and on the 2nd/ floor, there was no noise to speak of. Also, I checked the edges of the mattress, which I did not see any signs of bugs nor did we have any bites us.
The bathroom had some type of thin solid French doors, which did not provide as much privacy as one might want.
The breakfast was sparse. They had run out of fresh fruit, margarine/butter and did not have sugar free options for yogurt (my husband is diabetic). However, they did have sugar free waffle syrup. Again it might be understaffing / or poor planning for the number of guests that stayed for the night. When we arrived back to the hotel, the parking lot was full, but found a space for our compact car. I would recommend the hotel, which is easy access from Mopac 1 in north west Austin.
