I love staying at this hotel. Friendly helpful staff and very clean. The work out roomhas all new equipment and it it easy to find a good restaurant closeby. I shopped and ate dinner at The Domain next door. I can't wait to come back to Austin.

Stayed here July 23, 2011. Staff is very good. & I was able to get a first floor room and early check in. I drove to Austin for a family gathering and brought my 86 year-old mom with me. Grounds, lobby & room were in excellent condition. Looks like this hotel was recently remodeled. Super clean everywhere (and I am picky).

Only downside was the noise. Could hear everythng through the walls... woke up around 2:00 a.m. to the sound of a family with kids that were loud. Can hear water running for toilets and showers in above, below in the rooms near ours.

Our stay was nearly perfect. We were given a "patio room" which opened onto the patio/swimming pool. Although not heated, we spent many pleasant hours enjoying the pool and hot tub. The room was fine and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Although a bit far to
the north of the city, it is located near several good restaurants (the Tacodeli, Mangia and Mimi's (for starters) and near several shopping centers (the Domain, etc.). Once as a non-Texan the driver figures out the the frontage roads and on and off ramps, it's quite accessible
to other freeways and to downtown. We found it clean, well-lit and well-managed, and would definitely stay another time.

It is clean, safe, comfortable (I thought the pillows were more than adequate - not like airplane pillows at all) and reasonably priced for the area. However, it does not have many of the niceties one takes for granted as standard. No wireless internet in the room. Very basic breakfast offering. Very skimpy on freebies in the bathroom. (We had one small bottle of shampoo and two bars of soap. No conditioner. No lotion. No second bottle of shampoo.) For the price and location and for my needs, I would stay here again. However, if you want to feel pampered, I would suggest some place else.
