“Scum of the Earth”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2011

Dirty, This is what I think of this disgusting Rodent infested ghetto place. We stayed here due to at the time there was an NFL and NBA game going and all places were booked. We booked four rooms for two nights and were only provided with three rooms for one night. Spend an average of three hours getting the mess straighten out and finally got a fourth room of which was filthy with rodent droppings in the tub and on the bed sheets and the outlets and AC did not work. We’re informed they were booked and did not have any more rooms. When I went back to complain they offered keys to three other rooms to pick from of which the only good thing good about them was the AC and outlets worked but were still as filthy as the others. My iPhone was fried while I plugged it into the outlet to get charged and while a complain was turned in to management they could care less stating they were in the process of bankruptcy and there was nothing they could do about it. Informed management that I was reporting then to the Better Business Bureau and to the Health Department and management response was OH-WELL. We would have been better off staying in our cars. The restaurant was also filthy with roaches running around. So if you plan to stay there Good-Luck. Oh and the pool was about half full of water with all kinds of stuff in it.

Room Tip: Don't Bother

“Aweful place and worse service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2011 via mobile

The manager was awful. Took us 4 hours to get into our room. We got a knock in the middle of the night from a pimp asking for his lady friend. We left and never got a refund. Stay away!!!!

“AWFUL MOTEL - AWFUL STAFF”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2011

We traveled there on a vacation trip to go to 6 flags

1. Their free shuttle to 6 flags is a scam and doesn't run.
2. Rude front clerk said we didn't have a reservation with Priceline.
3. Rude front clerk ignored us for 10 minutes after throwing back our priceline reservation to us, more worried about joking on the phone in some language than trying to help us figure out why the reservation didn't go through.
4. After we proved him we did have a reservation with Priceline, Rude front clerk yelled at us "why did you give the wrong name?". The wrong name in question was the name under which the reservation had actually been made. Rude front clerk was just looking at the BILLING name instead... When I confronted Rude front clerk about the fact that he was just being plain rude, rude front clerk said he wasn't.
5. Rude front clerk gave us a key to a room with cockroaches in the sink and spiders in the bath tub.
6. We realized rude front clerk had not taken my card for verification purposes but actually charged us A SECOND TIME, even though we had paid through priceline.
7. When we confronted rude front clerk about it, he said that priceline had not paid them and that we needed to call priceline for our money back. The money is still not back a week after.

Bottomline of the story : The worst hotel staff we've ever had to deal with. They need to be fired. Add to this that the hotel is by a railway with extremely loud trains all night...

Room Tip: NOT room 119 : cockroaches and spiders in it.

“Stay AWAY!”

I have traveled the world over an been to several hotels some good an bad! First as I checked in the man behind the counter tried to act like he was smarter than the average person asking was I happy an was I haveing a good day. He then says "Why are you happy I said because I have a great life four wonderful kids, a beautiful home... He then says are "You" Happy? I said yes he again ask why I said becuase I know who an what I am am! He finally gives me my room key. We get tot he room an we know we are only here to shower an use the pool while going to Six Flags an the water park. Next they say they have a shuttle that will pick you up from each place an srop you off. Funny how on a Thursday and Friday an Saturday there is no driver! But it is funny later that eveing while sitting beside the pool the van pulls out with some people. Then we get to the room! The Boys who are 14 an 15 are all about relaxing they were scared to take thier shoes off in the room for the carpet looked like ----! Then we go tot he pool both of them had come to the pool I am sitting on the edge, they are swimming, the rude man at the front says "pool can not be used at this time" AFTER My children had been in it for over a hour! NO SIGN NOTHING! I try to over look things when staying at a cheap hotel but he should have locked the gate if no one should be in the pool! I think the best thing for the health department to do is close this place down. Stray cats, on cars, outdoor carpet is easy to trip over, NO ICE machine works out of all three on the property! I think every person in the USA deserves to make a living but this man has no right to call this place anything more than a DUMP! Pay 10 or 20 more dollars an at least be not in fear to take your shoes off in the room! To the man behind the counter, You need to learn that your little strange humor is offensive an rude an to be honest stupid! SO I ASK ALL PEOPLE LOOKING TO RENT A ROOM STAY AWAY! Alan Alexander

Room Tip: Pay 20 bucks more an get a decent rooom!

So.... we I booked and paid through travelocity.... drove 4 hours to get to the hotel.. we were goin on a family trip to six flags and hurricane harbor... i figured its really cheap and close by and we wouldnt have to pay for parking with the free shuttle, awesome. Anyways, get there and apparently travelocity hadnt sent them a fax saying i paid for the room so the very rude lady said that i had to find their number.. she didnt even assist when i said that i didnt know it, finally found it and was on hold for almost an hour then waited 30 minutes before it was finally faxed so after our very long tiring trip we were stuck in the lobby for almost 2 hours before getting to relax. I rented 3 rooms next to each other and 2 of them were nexxt to eachother the other one was 10 rooms away... one of the rooms that were together didnt open form the outside, the lock was broken had to go tell the staff and he insisted he could open it, after about 30 more minutes he finally gave me another room that was like 15 doors down.. not happy... we finally get over there attempt to open the door and it was locked from the inside WTF?! dont know how it happened but it did... same drill had to wait for the guy to go look At it before finally giving us our 3rd hotel room all the way on the other side of the building.... we were happy to finally be in a room .... although we still got no sleep in that one room because we ewre pouring sweat all night because the ac didnt work RAWR... we went down stairs the next morning to get their "complimentary" breakfast.... the staff was sittin there eatin a nice big healthy breakfast so i was excited we were gonna eat good until he pointed over to a gallon of milk sittin on ice blah corn flakes and dry toast... i was pissed not my idea of a good breakfast.. we told them we couldnt bear staying in that room another night and they put us all the way in another building... like a 5 minute walk just to our family in the other rooms... thank god it was in great condition though.... it had a microwave, huge tub, new soft carpets, freezing ac, and a fridge.. so it wasnt that bad... guess they figured they should give us a decent room after 4 moves. the shuttle on the site said from 8 to 10... we got there and it was from 10 to 930 which means we missed all the night stuff which sucked. the shuttle guy was great though he gave us directions when we left and showed up very quickly when we all wanted to leave. the rest of the staff especially the arab chick .... was the worst staff ever. for how bad it was.... it should have been atleast 20$ cheaper in my opinion.

Room Tip: you dont want room 217(locked outside) 213(locked inside) or 245( ac broke) u want 270 amazing room...
