I was in town for the LSU/Oregon football game. Flew in that morning and left the next morning so I just needed something cheap, no frills, and relatively close to the stadium....and this is exactly what this motel did. Outside looks new but the inside appears like 1970's to 1980's era construction. Tube TV's, old carpet, mattress in the hallway, mildew in the bathroom. BUT, free breakfast was good, staff was friendly and helpful, AC blew ICE cold, and shower had good water pressure and steady temperature, and the beds were comfy! The area had lots to do and eat as well. Again, its not the best motel in the area but all I needed was cheap and average and thats exactly what I got. For your info, this motel is about 20 minutes from the stadiums and 6 Flags.
PS. There is one Review of this motel that describes this as being right across the street from both stadiums. This motel is NOT that one. Apparently the poster made an error in choosing the correct motel to review. I actually passed the Days Inn near the stadium and from what I saw on the outside his review is spot on. Shady looking neighborhood and bars on business doors.
