This was our first stay at a B&B. We were just passing through but wanted to try it out. It's easy to get to and the home is lovely. The owners were friendly and took us in like family. We would certainly stay at Parkview B&B again.

My parents and I had a stop over in Amarillo, Texas on our way back home. I found out about this place on trip advisor, so I made some reservations. When I made reservations, I spoke with Carol who was such a sweet person! She sold me on it at that point! We arrived late Saturday night and unfortunately Carol was on vacation with her sister. But her husband Nabil (I hope I spelled that right) was a perfect host! He is a sweet man just like Carol! He showed us our rooms, which were spotlessly cleaned and beautiful!

It is a Victorian style home that is part of the National Registry of Historic Places. I noticed a review said that it was "busy" but we were rather looking for that Victorian feel. It was a wonderfully decorated with the old style art, stained glass lamps, and hats. But they also provided all the modern amenities. We didn't get to see the garden until later since it was late. It is obvious they spent a lot of time on it and boy is it nice!

Nabil was a wonderful host and even fixed and excellent breakfast! I can't say enough great things about this place! We really loved it and would stay there again!

We stayed here as part of our trip round Texas. A really beautiful house and fantastic garden. Carol and her husband made us very welcome in their home. Our room, immaculately clean, was full of interesting books and things Carol has collected.. The breakfasts were great, Carol even made us creme brulee one moning!

Their garden is a wonderful collection of flowers, shrubs and herbs. A great place to relax with a glass of wine in the evening.

Parkview is centrally placed for touring around the Amarillo area.

We needed a stay-over half way between Ft Worth and Santa Fe, and found this on the net. Amarillo seemed 'just another city on a freeway' until we arrived here. Carol was weeding the beds in front of the house, looking a little bit like Katherine Hepburn: 'you've come a long way, what you need is a glass of wine...'. And the rest of it followed. The garden is a real oasis, a beauty. The house is friendly, a bit cluttered, lovely, warm, welcoming. If you want a rather cold, impersonal, business-like minimalist hotel, don't come here!

Needless to say, we stayed again on our way back to Ft Worth!
