This hotel was HORRIBLE! I stayed here for one night with my small children in supposedly a "non-smoking" room. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. I asked to be switched to a non-smoking room. The girl at the front desk said they were full and that it was a non-smoking room. You could smell the smoke upon entering the door, there was no way it was a non-smoking room. She gave me some room deodorizer which helped with the smell in the room, but did not remove the smell from the towels and bedding. My children, who have asthma, had to sleep in sheets that smelled so bad, you couldn't even put your face on them. If it hadn't been 11 pm when we arrived from a very long drive, we would have left and found a room elsewhere. The bed was like sleeping on a rock and the furniture is old and dingy. But seriously, I could have handled the old and dingy furniture but the cigarette smell made it unbearable. I will never stay at this hotel chain again! Non-smokers do not want to be in a smoking room. Way overpaid for that hotel stay. Never again!

Quick Check-in. They even called us to make sure our room was satisfactory. No one has ever done that before!! Convenient to I-40, mall, movie complex and major restaurants. Room was as described, clean and comfortable. Kitchenette had stovetop, full size fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and toaster. Plates and utensils were provided as well. Will definitely stay again.

Friendly staff, room was more comfortable than expected. Wireless internet for a fee ($8). Walking distance to the movies and Red Robin hamburgers. Great for business travelers.

This property offers good value for the money. We stayed here for two nights for $60 a night. Because the hotel caters to long-term stays, all rooms have kitchenettes with coffee maker, full-size fridge, microwave, etc. We had a basic studio with a queen bed, two desks, reclining chair and bureau.

The housekeeping wasn't the greatest. I don't think they clean the plates and other utensils very well before they put them back in the cabinets. I took out a coffee mug and it had some kind of pink gunk on the bottom. Ugh! I also found a piece of what looked like a cracker on the floor near the bed. There was no dishwashing soap in the kitchenette, which would have made washing dishes rather difficult.

The location isn't very scenic; it's right off a service road near the freeway and looks out at a bunch of chain restaurants across the street. But our room was very quiet; maybe the windows are soundproofed. It's convenient too--next to a movie theater, and very close to a large shopping center and a Starbucks. Pets are accepted for $25 per stay, and wireless Internet is available in the room for $10 per stay. The staff was nice and allowed us a late checkout. However, one of the front desk people was new to the area and didn't have any idea how to get anywhere. This was a problem since I'd never been to Amarillo and didn't have any idea how to get anywhere either. Luckily the city is small and fairly easy to navigate.

While I wasn't pleased with the housekeeping, the room was basically decent and I'd stay here again considering the reasonable price.
