After reading reviews we decided to stop in for lunch. My husband and I are from Georgia and have been barbeque lovers forever, we have even driven an hour out of the way on prior trips just to get great BBQ. Unfortunately, Tyler's didn't live up to the hype. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't special. The pulled pork had more flavor than the chopped beef, which is unusual for TX BBQ. The sauce was a little too sweet, the beans and coleslaw really had no flavor. The potato salad was quite good though, not overloaded with mayo like other places, and you could tell it was very fresh. The restaurant is clean and easy to get to off of I40, and prices are reasonable. I would recommend it for a quick BBQ lunch, just don't expect to get your socks knocked off.
