The first room I got in this motel was not too impressive. The room had a musty somewhat smoky smell (even though it was supposed to be non-smoking) and then I discovered the noisy climate control system would only cool the room but not heat it. Since it dropped to freezing that night, I complained and was moved to another room. The second room was a bit better than the first. The climate control system seemed new, was quieter, and both heated and cooled the room well and the room smelled better. The main drawback was that someone had let in about a dozen flies into the room which kept me company for the night. Other than that, it was an average clean 2* motel room. It had a king bed, phone, tables and chairs, refrigerator, and microwave. The large TV got a lot of stations. The main problem was the amount of noise from people coming and going. There was noise until about midnight from both the nearby bar patrons and hotel patrons. At around 6 AM, the truckers started leaving. They let their cabs run for about 5 minutes in the morning so once they start you will not be getting any sleep. Plus, at $50, it was not a great value and you can pay just a little more for one of the better motels nearby. I would look for a motel with fewer truckers or better soundproofing.
