A pretty good property for a Courtyard, nothing to complain about.

Three distinguishing features of the hotel:
- It's in a great location if you are doing business in the area, close to all of the office buildings on the Tollway and within walking distance of many of the Belt Line restaurants. Also close to Addison Circle / Addison Park which is an interesting planned community.
- The lobby is superb, a huge open space with plenty of tables and seat groupings for chatting, working, eating, drinking, watching TV, etc.
- There is an outdoor pool which seemed like a pleasant enough space, but it was just too hot out to bother using it on my visit.

The rooms are standard Courtyard fare, in other words clean and functional but uninspiring. As always, I appreciate in-room flat screen tv's and well functioning a/c and this place did not disappoint.

Two minor issues:
- I thought my bed was soft...not the usual Marriott bedding?
- I asked if there was a shuttle service to local offices and was told "no, but we can call a taxi"...which contradicts some of the other reviews.

Check in: check in went smooth. We asked for a ground floor room and were granted this request. We purchased a room with free breakfast and were given breakfast menus for the free breakfast at check-in.
Room: our room was a gound floor room that opened to the pool. We asked for this room because we wanted a room with outside access and these were the only rooms that opened to the outside except for a couple on the upper floors. Most rooms had no outside balcony or access. the room seemed a little small but very adequate. Our room had a comfortable King size bed and a fold out couch, we were two adults and two kids and we were comfortable. It had wireless internet and a four cup coffee maker.
Food: After we checked in we ordered a pepperoni pizza from the Bistro. It was very good for $14. We ate dinner after the fireworks at Champs resturaunt across the street. For our free breakfast you filled out the menu the front desk gave you at check-in and then gave it to the bistro to cook. Not a buffett. The buffett is gone. Still the food was very good from the Bistro and very filling. Also Starbucks coffee.
Service: All of the front desk and service personel were outstanding and very friendly. Very helpful when we neede something,
Pool: The pool was crowded, but we expected this on Holiday weekend, Also green, not blue water, but many people were in the water,
Overall great hotel, We will be back and would highly recommend

Typical Courtyard in most regards except the walls are paper thin. We could hear everything going on next door - and I do mean *everything*, if you catch my drift. I'd love to assume this was a one time event, but I doubt it - we most likely will not be back, even at $44 a night. I guess the price should have been a warning to us.

Good location near many restaurants. Cutting edge lobby with good business support. Breakfast was quick and easy and very good (not included). Had no A/C in first room so had to move, but the staff made it easy and painless. Rooms are plain but adequate. Excellent customer service at the front desk.
