I stayed here for a 2 week business trip and had a great stay. The rooms are well kept with nice decor, the staff was available and helpful and the location is near lots of restaurants and SHOPPING!!!

Great for short term - awesome for long term. The rates are great and the rooms are well equipped. Granted there is no wireless (except in lobby), but if you're on your own and working in the room, being tethered was fine, especially since one of the two TVs are right by the table. The kitchen was clean and had what I needed, plus there is a Target and Kroger just a short distance down the road, so provisions were easy to obtain. The local restaurant selection is endless (with quite a few within walking distance), and there is an awesome mall (Galleria) about 10 min away. The bath/toilet area is super compact - not NYC compact, but tight. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom which was a great way to keep the air moving....the AC/Heat unit fan is a quiet roar. Security walking the property and parking lot and parking is plentiful. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Weeknight dinners are ok in a pinch, but with all the restaurants, not your only choice! Its about a 25 min drive to DFW, but there is quite a bit of construction on 635, so you may want to add 10 min or so.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving, and it was a wonderful home away from home. The value of the holiday/weekend rate was actually truly phenomenal. The room was in great condition and were quite large with two flat screen TVs. The bed (obviously one of the most important things) was very comfortable as well. The area around the shower and toilet is a little tight, but the shower itself is quite large.

We had the complimentary breakfast each morning, and it was your pretty standard continental breakfast plus scrambled eggs, bacon or ham, some small hash brown type things, and waffles. Nothing to right home about, but as good or better than most...and hey, it was free, right? The fitness room is a little small, and it could really use a fan (got pretty stuffy fairly quickly), but there are two elipiticals, and a treadmill...and all have their own TV...plus there is a TV on the wall. While we didn't use the outdoor pool, I did notice it was heated to a nice temperature.

The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. For one thing - we actually left a cell phone charger in the room, and they found it and kindly mailed it back to us. All interactions with them were very nice though.

I guess the only negative would be the hallways themselves are a little worse for wear. They're a shame in some ways, because they're obviously the thing you see before you get to the really wonderful rooms, and from them you might think you were staying in a Motel 6. Hopefully they'll be able to address those in the near future...but really, while they do impact first impressions, in terms of practical purposes - they're really the least important thing I can think of.

All in all a very nice hotel - we'd be glad to stay there again and will definitely look for Homewood Suites in general in the future!

My wife and I stayed at the Addison Homewood suites for the OU/Tx game. We have stayed at this hotel since 1993 and keep going back. The hotel has been remodeled several times over the years and always looks clean and well kept. The staff is courteous and efficient. Addison is a safe and exciting part of town to stay in. There are numerous restaurants and a comedy club within a mile of the hotel. The one bedroom suites are like small appartments with LCD TVs and nicely furnished. With easy acces to North Dallas tollway you can be downtown is 15 minutes.
