“RRE, long time client”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 February 2011

i have been staying at the RRE for almost 20 years when i travel to majuro. things have changed over the years. the bar/dining area has been renovated, its all non smoking now, and some of the rooms have been renovated also.

its abou a 30min ride from the airport. the rre van is always there waiting for me and other guests. check in is always fast and prompt. the rooms are ok, a little musty from the a/c but pretty decent. the cable is good and the wifi is avail by buying blocks of time. a little pricey but not too bad imo.

the best part is the bar and dining room. big menu, big portions and great staff. great location as its close to the post office, groceries, hardware store.

“Nice place to stay when on Majuro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 September 2010

After staying at MIR during my previous visits, Robert Reimer was a great relief. My bungalow was clean, spacious, and free of bugs. The restaurant was also better than at MIR. (I dined at both restaurants during this trip.) You won't find a hotel on Majuro as trouble-free as your average freeway-side hotel in the mainland US, but this was as close as they come. There were some minor problems that you could expect anywhere in the Marshall Islands, but the hotel was fantastic.

By the way, don't believe the front desk staff if they say there are no dive guides around. We found one friendly guide with a simple setup, at least. I don't have his contact information, but his name is Zachary.

“if in Majuro stay in RRE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 September 2010

if its for business or leisure there are not many choices if you like to stay in a decent accomodation like Robert Reimers. I have always stayed on the balcony rooms which are spacious and have been maintained over the years. The toilets could become a issue sometime but otherwise this is fixed easily.
the food is great and maybe safest compared to other restaurants and you have a variety of choices to choose from. this was my 3rd trip to Majuro and i have always stayed in RRE and have not heard positive comments on Marshall Islands Resort. Enjoy the place and the friendly people.

“Very nice bungalow”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 June 2009

We had a large bungalow right next to the lagoon. Houskeeping was very careful to keep everything clean. Good beds, sophisticated ventilation, tasteful furnature, nice porch, big bathroom in three sections. Toilet flush needs some maintenance. The internet needs to be paid for unless you are satisfied with the free wireless connection in the lobby and restaurant.
The Reimers restaurant offers very good food. Very friendly personnel.
You can also rent a car at the hotel.
Overall a good experience in a difficult and fragile environment.

“where to stay in Majuro”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2009

Just returned from 2 trips to the Marshall Islands. The 2nd trip, we stayed at Robert Reimers, so much better than the Marshall Islands Resort. (MIR) Rooms were clean, not musty, wood floors and decent furniture. Mini fridges, decent cable tv, a/c, and balconies. Bathrooms were very basic, but clean.

The bar/restaurant was pretty nice, food was fine. They are out of things here and there, so be flexible. Prices are very good, considering their location. Wireless internet in this area, as well as lobby. Hotel is on the second floor of the building, with no elevator. They have about 6 bungalows, which we saw, and they were really nice. Rooms were about $100 per night, I think the bungalows were $160-ish. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
