We arrived at the Holiday Inn at 5:00pm and purchased a room with 2 queen beds for $119. We thought that was a little high for this area, but agreed to the price because Holiday Inn has delivered a consistently good experience. However, after getting into our room, we decided to look at other hotels around the area and found that the Fairfield Inn is $20 less, as well as Hampton Inn. Then we looked on the internet to see how much they were advertising rooms for at THIS hotel. We found the price to be $99. We called customer service to find out why our hotel room cost was $20 more than what is advertised and were told that it was because we didn't have a reservation. We could have sat in the lobby, got on the computer, and made a reservation for $99 at 7:00pm and saved $20, versus walking in at 5:00pm. URGH!!!
Also, the pool is opaque, gross, and nasty. The hot tub has floaties in it. There is hair on the bathroom floor. We will not be staying at this Holiday Inn ever again, nor any other Holiday Inn.
