“CLEAN - COMFORTABLE - GREAT SERVICE - BEAUTIFUL”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2010

My hubby had to travel to TN for IBEW training and I accompanied him. The hotel reservation was made for us by IBEW and they made a GREAT CHOICE. The staff was courteous and helpful, the room was clean and well-cared for, the bed was clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was a real plus for us. It's close to shopping and the airport and being newly remodeled gives it an extra plus in my book. I've stayed in many, many hotels / motels and this one is at the very top in all ways. Thank You Alcoa Hampton Inn for a great stay.

“Great Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 July 2010

I have seen the other reviews and they are curently renovating all the rooms. I stayed in one of the newlly renovated rooms and it was excellent. Bed was soft and all new fixtures in the bathroom. I have stayed here multiple times and everytime has been a great experience. The customer service is excellent. Although I left earlier than normal breakfast they still has it out and ready. This property is located right across the street from the airport which makes it a quick trip to the airport. Also there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The Mexican restaurant is especially good.

“Dirty, poorly maintained, and way overdue for renovation”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 April 2010

This is the worst Hampton I've ever stayed in.

Here's what we encountered after 12 hours of flying. If it had not been midnight when we arrived, we'd have immediately left and found another hotel, but we were too beat to bail out. In retrospect, it would have been worth it, even as exhausted as we were.

The rug in our room was filthy. The arm chair was threadbare and greasy. The floor lamp did not work. The water never got hot in the shower. The bathroom floor tiles were separated by lines of dirt rather than grout. The blanket was stained. The air conditioner alternated between shutting itself off and then turning itself on while making a noise like a mating camel (yes, we saw that on Dirty Jobs so this is an accurate analogy). The pool was closed for the seasob, too.

Upon checkout in the morning, the manager told us that the hotel was slated for an overhaul beginning in May 2010) Too bad we didn't know that ahead of time. The only good thing about the hotel was the staff, which was friendly, but we couldn't wait to get out of there.

“Very Impressed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2009

I was very impressed with the Hampton Inn! The customer service was excellent! They accommodated my very early check-in (9 am), had a free airport shuttle, provide cookies in the evening, and a very extensive continental breakfast bar! The rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were super comfortable. Thanks for exceeding my expectations!

“Worst Hampton ever”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2009

Flight was cancelled so I'm staying here on us airways dime. That is the only thing keeping me here. This hotel is the pits. Room is totally dated, smells musty, airconditioning smells terrible and is loud. The shower is mildew filled. I will not be showering in the morning.

The service was good at the desk. The clerk was friendly and accomidated my room change request, but the second room is just as bad as the first. Free Internet and breakfast are included as per usual for Hampton.
