“We love the Iris Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 June 2010

We're again staying at the Iris Inn and have been here many times over the last couple decades. This has been our home away from home when we visit Ashland, usually for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (a wonderful theater company, in case you've never seen any of their productions, which include Shakespeare's plays and many others). It's an easy walk from the Inn to the theaters (the festival has 3, including the Elizabethan outdoor stage). Vicki and Greg Capp, the innkeepers, are personable and always helpful with restaurant arrangements and the like. And speaking of food, Vicki's breakfasts are a wonderful treat. Enjoy your stay. I know we'll be back.

“Extremely cozy and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 May 2010

We've stayed at the Iris Inn almost every year since 2000. Five years ago friends started traveling with us and love it as much as we do.

The Inn is nicely furnished with a cozy sitting room, great decorations and of course, paintings and art work with an "iris theme".

Breakfasts are to die for. Vicki has the best recipes and varies the breakfast each morning. Cocktail hour with complimentary wine starts at 5.

“The Iris Inn is fabulous - it has it all!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 April 2010

We spent two nights at the Iris Inn and definitely plan to come back. Vicki, Greg and their staff are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. The Inn is charming, comfortable and within an easy walk of downtown Ashland. Vicki's breakfasts are yummy, and she's always willing to meet any dietary restrictions. Overall is was a wonderful visit that we hope to repeat soon.

“Always a great stay at the Iris Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2009

I have been visiting the Iris Inn for many years and have had nothing but positive experiences. The location is perfect; the rooms are cozy and comfortable; the breakfasts are always fabulous and Vicki and Greg are tremendous hosts. Ashland is a wonderful town and the surrounding areas are well worth your time. Vicki and Greg are extremely knowledgeable and can help you have a perfect stay.

“Cold owner is unhospitable”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2009

The owners of Iris Inn leaves you feeling frosty. Most B&B owners are warm and engaging but not the one at Iris Inn. She gave you a feeling that her B&B was mostly a business, not a passion.

But to be objective, the room was okay and the B&B was pretty close to the theatre. The breakfasts were delicious and creative.

The goal at The Iris Inn is for the guests to feel pampered and "at home" during their stay. We also hope that if we are not living up to our goal, that our guests feel comfortable discussing their concerns with the innkeeper who does still have passion for the inn's guests, Ashland and life in general after 28 years of ownership. Yes, it is a business, but the inn is also our home; all who work here strive to make the guests happy during their stay. May 2008 was a while back in time when you say you were our guest; we hope you will give us another try. As you can see by our many guest reviews, we must have been having an off day during your night at the inn.
