“Wonderful Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2011

We stayed at a time when the regular hosts were out of the country, but the "back-up" hosting staff was phenomenal. I'm sorry that I don't remember her name, but the hostess had an amazing suggestion for the best drinks and food in town, and it paid off. The Jade room was quaint, but very comfortable with a small walk-in closet space for storage. The breakfast was excellent. The location was great- just a few blocks to Lithia square. They provided little touches that made us feel very welcome, such as wine in the afternoon, chocolates and aperitifs. The front porch had a two-person swinging chair that was wonderful in the evening. Overall, a wonderful visit.

“Our place to stay in Ashland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 September 2011

The Iris Inn is a great place to stay in Ashland, OR. The Inn has 5 rooms, all of which are amply roomy and well maintained. We've stayed in several of them ourselves. The breakfast times are arranged in advance and start at 8:30. The breakfasts are usually prepared with fresh local ingredients and are available in half size for smaller eaters like us. The wine happy hour is at 4:30 with a red and a white provided. You can sip on it in the parlor, on the front porch or out in the lovely back yard garden.
Vicki and her small staff are always helpful and eager to help their guests enjoy themselves in Ashland. All of our dinner reservations were handled for us, and Vicki is always ready with recommendations on how better enjoy your stay.

Room Tip: The rooms are all nice; the best view is from the Vista room; there is a first floor room, with the...

“Iris Inn - Hosts with the Most”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 June 2010

Again, the Iris Inn exceeded our expectations. The hosts, Vicki and Greg, continue to go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. From the personal touches at breakfast time, to providing valuable insights to their region, this is a great getaway spot. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

“We love the Iris Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 June 2010

We're again staying at the Iris Inn and have been here many times over the last couple decades. This has been our home away from home when we visit Ashland, usually for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (a wonderful theater company, in case you've never seen any of their productions, which include Shakespeare's plays and many others). It's an easy walk from the Inn to the theaters (the festival has 3, including the Elizabethan outdoor stage). Vicki and Greg Capp, the innkeepers, are personable and always helpful with restaurant arrangements and the like. And speaking of food, Vicki's breakfasts are a wonderful treat. Enjoy your stay. I know we'll be back.

“Extremely cozy and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 May 2010

We've stayed at the Iris Inn almost every year since 2000. Five years ago friends started traveling with us and love it as much as we do.

The Inn is nicely furnished with a cozy sitting room, great decorations and of course, paintings and art work with an "iris theme".

Breakfasts are to die for. Vicki has the best recipes and varies the breakfast each morning. Cocktail hour with complimentary wine starts at 5.
