Jordan and Lou Ann were so gracious and accommodating to our last-minute need for a one-night stay in Ashland. We were so delighted that we happened to select this bed and breakfast as we drove into town. They had a beautiful room for us - spotless and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous (and he even gave me the recipe) as were the evening cookies and drinks. You really do feel at home. The room was also very private as there were no rooms next to us, above us or below us. Totally quiet. The garden and patios are so relaxing and full of colorful flowers. The views were majestic and the deer meandering were so fun to view (even though they locals may think them a pest). Two blocks to everything you need to entertain yourself. We enjoyed our walk through Lithia Park, dining by Ashland Creek and the many charming boutique shops. Lou Ann's floral shop was my favorite and I bought many special items. Unfortunately, since it was not a planned stop, we didn't see any plays. But we are planning another trip to do just that before the season ends. I will never just pass by Ashland again. Plan a trip and stay at this wonderful B&B - you won't regret it.

Warning! If you are handicapped and traveling with your service dog you are NOT welcome here! The owner never had the decency to return my phone call as promised. It was obvious he didn't want our business only AFTER I told him we were traveling with my service dog. I have never been denied access to a B&B before and it was a very hurtful experience to be treated like a 2nd class citizen. You can't judge a B&B by it's cover, it might be pretty on first sight but the people that run it can make it very ugly and uninviting. We did find a lovely B&B (also no pets) that was truly happy to accomodate us...not as fancy mind you but Christian. You decide what's more important the furniture or the karma.

I came from San Diego and stayed at this beautiful place for the first time over Labor Day weekend. I found it to be, without a doubt, the most wonderful bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in - due in large part to the ever gracious and helpful owner/host Jordan. Aside from his warm, friendly manner, he goes the extra mile to offer help in making dinner reservations, getting tickets and offering suggestions of what to do and see. From the moment I arrived - to find a note on the door welcoming me (how often does that happen?!) - I knew this was going to be a unique and delightful experience. The rooms are so pretty and comfortable - perfectly decorated in period style. Being so close to town, walking to plays and restaurants was easy and such a nice break from driving. And the food - that's another whole story - saying it was incredibly delicious and beautifully served is truly an understatement. Everything at this B&B is presented in such a lovely way that it is obvious Jordan cares about his guests and wants them to feel very at home and have a great visit. I have never enjoyed a B&B more, would highly recommend staying here and plan on going back often!

Really the perfect location from which to strike out to the Shakespeare festival, but be sure to take in the Britt festival down the road also. Host Jordan will give you recommendations for dinner, assist with reservations, and just generally ensure you have a fabulous stay.
