“Worth the price”

My sister and I came down to OK for a family reunion. We hadn't been back in the Ardmore area for several years. We knew this property had previously been a Holiday Inn. We were not disappointed in our stay. The rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable, and the pool was an added bonus! The staff was very helpful and made our 2 night stay enjoyble.

“Nice stop along the way”

We stayed here while passing through town en route to Colorado.

We only stayed for one night. The hotel was recently remodeled, and used to be a Holiday Inn. Our room was clean and equipped with 2 double beds and an easy chair. There was a desk, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker with coffee. The bathroom was clean.

The courtyard is nice, with a large pool and kid pool in the center. Pools are a deciding factor when we travel socthat our kids can unwind in the evening. The pool was resurfaced during the renovation, according to an article from the local paper that was framed at the front desk. There are several sitting areas under pine and cypress trees.

Laundry machines available for $1.25. Usually you would also get a free breakfast at the adjoining Denny's, but it was closed for remodeling. Instead they had set up a small continental breakfast.

There is also a lounge with a dj and karaoke, but we didn't go in there.

Free wifi was a tad slow but useable.

Staff was very friendly.

Overall, a nice stop along the way.

Room Tip: All front doors face the courtyard.

“Great Stay - Nice Rooms - Good Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2011

We were very happy with our stay at his hotel. We were a bit concerned because it was listed as only a 3 star hotel, but now we wonder why. We had nice service from the time we checked in until we left. Our room was near the pool, but come 10 pm it was quiet as a mouse. The room was clean, our bed was comfortable, and parking had good lighting. No comp breakfast but Dennys was next door, or the Prairie Kitchen was just a few steps away. Easy off/on the interstate. My husband is disabled and they did not have a handicapped room available for that night, but the tub area had a hand bar which is a big plus, we find a number of hotels as we travel do not have a hand bar in the tub. So that was a nice feature to find in our room. The work out area was clean - I rode the bike for a few miles and there was several others using the machines so that was nice. As I walked the area I noticed a play ground for the kids, plus a picnic table and grill was available for use. The staff was very helpful. The "high speed" internet was very slow but it finally gave us the information we needed. We would recommednd this hotel. Nice experience.

“Clean, quiet, good value”

We spent a weekend here. It is an older property - but it is well maintained. The room was clean and attractively decorated. The front desk was helpful and friendly. We had a room at the back and it was cool and quiet. A nice place to relax. Lots of hot water and excellent water pressure! Mattress was comfortable. Convenient access to I-35 and restaurants. I highly recommend the Prairie Kitchen restaurant next door - great food!

The only con - the wifi is VERY slow and it took forever for a page to load. I had to use my phone to check e-mail.
