This was a very nice HI, although certainly not new, it was clean enough and quiet.
As always, HI has a nice bed and reliable room.

Check-in was quick and painless. As I was checking I found out that a several youth soccer teams were staying the night. I figured the noise level would be high and I would not get a good night sleep. The front desk staff placed me on the third floor and to my surprise I did not hear any noise throughout the night. The room was good sized with a nice size bathroom. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well. The breakfast was good and the staff did there best to keep it stocked with the large amount of children running around. I found this Hampton to be the best place to stay while in Akron, much better amenities, friendly staff and less expensive than the Hilton Akron.

We always stay at the Hampton Akron South when we visit family in the area. Time after time we find rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast is well stocked for the entire breakfast hours. Free Internet connection is consistent. Best of all, it's close to highways--interstate and state--so that getting around the area is easy.

We stayed for one evening after a long, long drive and it was just what we needed. The staff was very friendly and quick with our check in. The property was well kept and the room was very nice. Everything looked clean. The beds were very plush and comfortable, with great pillows. I will be sure to stay here next time I am in the area. Great place!
