One of the top three Holiday Inns I have stayed in over the years. The hotel is new and very clean. Our room was very comfortable, including free wifi, fridge, and microwave. It was conveniently located in Akron, just a few minutes south of the downtown. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Their fresh cookies were good too. The breakfast was good - hot food (eggs sausage) if you want it, a good selection of cold items, and always hot coffee. We only stayed a single night but would definitely return here the next time we are in town. Overall, I would give this hotel a top rating.

We chose this hotel because it was ranked #1 in the Akron area through TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. The room was very clean and a good value. It was very close to downtown Akron and the Cuyahoga Valley Railway Station. Plenty of restaurants and stores right next door. The staff was extremely friendly. We forgot something when we were leaving and one of the maids ran after us to catch us before we left. The only "complaint" is in the quality of the breakfast foods. It was very convenient to have breakfast available and there was a lot to choose from so you won't have a problem finding something to heat. However the quality of the hot food was pretty poor. Sausages were rubbery, omelettes didn't have much flavor, etc. So event though they advertise a "hot" breakfast, you should consider it more continental...only a minor flaw.

All i can say is that the staff was the friendliest group of people that i have every met!!! The hotel was spotless and the free hot and cold breakfast buffet was better than pays that i have paid for! the room was spotless. if i every go back to ohio this would be the place to stay!

Stayed one night on trip to Akron area. Front desk personnel were exceptionally nice. Great cookies upon arrival. A little hard to locate the hotel due to road construction where you turned in. Looks like the construction is about finished so it should not be a problem for anyone. Had asked for a non smoking room, but none were available, so we decided to go with the smoking. It really wasn't bad. Nice continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Very friendly.
