I had a disappointing visit several months ago, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again. On this visit, I was arriving in the evening and though it seems like a minor thing I was very anxious to get checked-in so I could watch a series I enjoy on HBO. I got checked in and every channel on the TV worked except HBO, I dialed the front desk and she told me to come back down and she would give me a different room, after all that, it wasn't working in the new room either. Although I was disappointed, I figured I would catch the next showing later in the week. The woman at the front desk assured me she would have maintenance check it in the morning. The next evening I eagerly rushed back to my room to catch the replay of the show and the HBO still wasn't working. I went down to the front desk and told (the same) woman at the counter that it still wasn't working and she called back to the maintenance man who said "ok, let me just flip the switch." If all that was needed was a switch flipped why wouldn't that have been fixed when it was first reported? Again, I know it's a small thing but as a weekly business traveler, service means a lot and this place hasn't delivered on multiple occasions. Other than service, the hotel is perfectly acceptable. The room was clean and had all the usual amenities and plenty of workspace, the breakfast has some hot items. So, if you don't need assistance during your stay you will probably enjoy the hotel and your visit.
