Our daughter, Kelly and her husband, David, were married at the B & B's Country Garden Inn in May of 2007 and we can't say enough about what a wonderful experience this was. We looked at a number of venues includig other B & Bs ,and the minute we pulled up to the B & B's Country Garden Inn we knew this was "it". The grounds are beautiful and the Inn itself was comfortable and warm and traveling from MA , we immediately felt "at home". The rooms were large and bright and we enjoyed reading the messages left on the walls of the upstairs hallway where guests are encouraged to "sign the wall" before checking out. A hearty homemade breakfast is prepared by Beth, the Inn owner, whose friendliness and warmth makes you feel that you have known her for years and is served in the sunroon overlooking the grounds. We rented the Inn for the whole weekend of the wedding (whcih we stongly recommend if possible) and worked very closely with the B & B's event coordinator, Sarah, who took care of every last detail but who was flexible enough to allow changes/or additions of personal touches to insure that this was the couple's dream wedding. The ceremony was held on the deck overlooking the pond, and the wedding photos are incredible. Most of the guests had traveled a great distance to attend the wedding, and the comments from them were wonderful...many said it was the nicest wedding they had attended....largely due to the beautiful yet comfortable surroundings. Even the muscians who played the harp and flute during the ceremony (and who, by their own admission, had performed at many a "highend" wedding) thought the setting was beautiful. The food, prepared and served by Sarah and her staff, was excellent....served buffet style, it was hot and tasted great. We were allowed to serve beer and wine (which we provided ourselves). We were told at the time of booking that we would need to stop the outside music at 10pm because we were in a residential neighborhood, however we had plenty of time to dance and party and accomplish the traditional wedding events, and we moved inside at the end of the evening for coffee and conversation. It was an amazing day and we would definately recommend the B & B's Country Garden Inn....it is truly is a "home away from home.
