“Club Blue Dreams - One of the best Hotels in Torba!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

Club Blue Dreams has to be one of the nicest Hotels I have stayed at in Turkey. Myself and my family have been to Turkey for the past four years and have stayed in a wide range of Hotels. Club Blue Dreams has to be in the top three.
We stayed there August 2009 with a party of 8 and we couldn't of had a better time! The weather was fantastic the hotel was great; offering a wide choice of tasty food, great drinks and cocktails! The pool was always cleaned first thing in the morning and last thing at night so you knew you weren't swimming in dirty water. They offered great entertainment of an evening, for both children and adults!
The staff were exceptional, I really couldn't fault them!! The bar staff made good drinks nothing tasted watered down or too strong and the entertainment team were great they really did go the extra mile with the children to put on funny shows and games of an evening and during the day by the pool.
The rooms where cleaned every day and the maids were very pleasant, always willing to leave a few more towels or toilet paper. The rooms we had, had great views of the sea because the Hotel literally sits on the beach. Which is also great of a day time as it's brilliant to spend the day on the beach and be able to grab a drink or run up to the room to get changed. The only thing I would say about the rooms, are there are ALOT of stairs and no lifts, so I recommend if you have trouble walking to request a lower ground floor.
The shops in the resort wasn't particularly over priced and the excursions on offer were fun!
The location was slightly remote, but never the less it was only a 10-15 bus journey to the local town, which worked out about 60p per person!
I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday there as well as did the family. Part of my family have returned to Club Blue dreams the following year and have said it's been the same. Fantastic holiday!!!!

Room Tip: If you have trouble walking a great deal, request a lower ground floor as there are plenty of stairs...

“One of my best Holidays!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

My holiday here was in September 2011. I came here with my mom. First impressions of the hotel were fab. Its very picturess with amazing views.

Our room was on the 6th floor, not very good if you don't like stairs although we didn't mind as we liked the exercise. There were no lifts. The room was very fresh and clean and modern with a flat screen TV and modern decor. The balcomy was on the small side but it didn't cause a problem.
The bathroom was of normal size with a fab power shower and average sized bath. There was an electronic safe in the wardrobe along with extra pillows and duvets - not that you needed the duvets. Air con as normal. Room service was daily however some days it would be 5pm when you were coming back from your day out - not ideal but they did a good job.

The food and restaurants here were delicous. The food was different most nights although we were here 2 wks so wedid come across some things more than once but it was all very very nice. No bad tummies. Local wine was very good as was the beer. There are 5 Al'a Carte restaurants which you get 1 night in each as part of your all inclusive although you do have to pay for your drinks.

Entertainment at the hotel was ok. They had live music, quiz nights, show nights, karoeke and bingo. None of this was all too much or loud so there was always a nice feel. The pool bar (Dreams bar) was lovely and had a nice relaxing atmosphere.

There are lots of trips that go from the hotel that you can book via your rep. There are also buses that run every 15 mins from the hotel reception that take you into Bodrum were there are plenty of bars and restaurants shoppinng etc very cosmopolitan down by the harbour!!! These buses run until 5am and of course bring you back!

The hotel has a beach right at the bottom where there is a fab boat, traditional gullo, that does trips daily - they are amazing and a MUST! There are also pedlo's, jet ski's, canoes and water sports that you have to pay for but start from 3tl so are very reasonably priced.

Overall i had a wonderful relaxing holiday here. All of the staff were very friendly polite and would go out of their way to help you and make sure you have a pleasant stay!

I will definately be going back!

Room Tip: If you struggle with stairs request a lower ground floor as there are no lifts.

“Bad choice Don’t make it your First Choice / Thompson”

I feel that I have no alternative but to inform you of our utter disappointment in the Holiday from hell. This Holiday was sold to ourselves as a all inclusive four T rated Hotel, I would be interested to know when the photos in your brochure were taken as in my opinion this hotel would not be rated above 1T. The point of going on an all inclusive holiday is to put a budget on your spending and to be assured of a standard of service.

When we arrived we were allocated room 324 this room had no balcony, no private terrace two sewerage manholes outside the front door and the most horrific stench.

• The minibar in the room consisted of a small fridge that contained
1 500 mil pepsi
1 500 mil orange
1 1lt of water
Once you have drunk them you had to walk down 80 steps to get a drink.

You have to pay for ice-cream
There was only two Pedalos for the whole place
Service in the restaurant was none existent and we had to go to the bar to get a drink with the meal
On one occasion whilst we had to wait for the cook to warm some meat the waiters removed the rest of the food before we and other people had received any dinner.

Room Tip: Don't go else were

“Be careful of booking in October”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 October 2011

It's a shame that we had booked this lovely looking hotel but unfortunately the hotelier decided to close early for the end of season ( we were due to arrive 17/10/11) and therefore cancelled our holiday even after we had paid in full. It certainly has a wonderful view from the main road but maybe we will try it another time.

“Great value for money - no complaints!”

I am glad that I went with the majority vote on this hotel and booked to stay here! For all those 1 out of 5 this was awful blah blah I am sorry that you didnt get the most out of your time here but I think you were just unlucky! On arrival in the middle of the night yes we didnt have our balcony we paid for but the manager changed the next morning by 11am no problem! The food was as good as any other all inclusive I have been to and I highly recommend the beach snack bar for lunch - great pizzas and Turkish pide. My partner can be a bit fussy with food but always found something to eat everytime. Also no sickess, illnesses, mites in bed etc all those things were non existent in mine or the friends we made here! Yes were were in a 600 high room but to be honest after eating so much lovely food the 100 steps probably did me a favour but probably not so good with young kids or elderly or disabled people. The bar staff was very firendly as were the restaurant staff. For the amount I paid for the holiday this was excellent value, everything was clean, loads of bars and places to sit and have a drink and if you wanted to embrace it there is animation team and shows etc but we just found sitting up with other guests and the bar staff at the poool bar was entertaining enough for us! Beach has loads of sunbeds and beautiful views - in fact the views from all bars, pool etc is stunning and worth the moeny in itself! Please do not hesitate to book this hotel especially if you are paying less that around £400 for a week all inclusive out of season and probably around £500-£600 for in season you will not be dissapointed!! And also made some cool friends - even the Tottenham fans - you know who you are Ralf lol!!!!

Room Tip: Room in 500 or 600 lots of steps lower roms probably a little noisy until maybe 11.30pmish
