Kaseria is a gem of a hotel. Newly built and family run, the opposite of Otel Bodroom, the hotel that I left because it’s low quality and disgusting rooms. The rooms are delightful and the pool area gorgeous. They serve good food at competitive prices. Keseria is unusual in that the staff seem to take an active role in the guests enjoyment, often joining in with swimming and playing games with the many young women staying here without even being invited. In fact there was a lack of men apart from local Turks. The workers took the young girls to bars at night, mainly Dutch and English and got them free/cheap drinks at the clubs. The girls seemed very grateful the next day. The music played at the pool was very loud and often disco when there were a lot of European women there, and Turkish music when mainly Turkish
The most annoying thing were 4 English girls, snobby students from the South who tried to ruin everybody’s holiday by making as much noise as they could when they returned from the clubs at 4am ish. The noise went on till after 5, consisting of banging doors, running across the corridor, telling Turkish men that they brought back to the hotel that they had changed their mind provoking angry conversations that the rest of us had to put up with. Management had told these girls of the numerous complaints. They cried. But they continued the next day, sleeping happily to till after midday whilst the rest of us got up for a beautiful though typical breakfast complaining of our sleep deprivation. Management did point out that it wasn’t always like this. Overall though, a very enjoyable stay.
