although the date says oct 2010 we actually stayed in june 2010. weather was brilliant and so was the accommodation. the hotel is in 2 parts, the first floor is on 1 level and is mostly under the pool. go up a set of stairs and you'll find the pool and bar area with little duplexes. on arrival we were allocated a room that was actually underneath the pool, it was quite warm and had no real ventilation, then we found a leak in the bathroom and after 3 times of asking for it to be fixed we were moved to another part of the hotel, in one of the duplexes. the second room was brill, nice and spacious for the 3 of us. be warned there are no lifts and beware of slippery steps as i found out much to my tremendous pain lol. the pool area is fairly big for the amount of guests although the pool is 1 depth all along (6ft)
staff were really good and very friendly. there is a little shop next door but has little choice and is a bit pricey, however when you walk into gumbet you pass a couple of mini markets that are better. the walk into gumbet is quick and hassle free, within 5 mins you are in bar street where you can barter and haggle for most goods as well as grab a meal and a drink for a reasonable price. all in all considering it was my first visit to turkey and wasn't sure i was gonna like it i would definately return and most definately stay a club bozok again.

You would' pick Club Bozok for the location, and if you plan to stay a lot in your room/apartment, there are better options. A/C didn't work well, fridge in the living room made a lot of noise. They hadn't put much effort into decoration, and only bedroom beds were good.
But the pool area was very nice, very good food, nice people, and view from balconies and pool/dining area was very nice. You don't see the beach, but you see the whole of Gumbet, underlining a feeling of being in the eastern meditteranean.
Location in a not very nice road cross ten minute's walk from where things happen.
I recommend it for people preparing to relax by the pool and who wish to spend most of their time outdoors.
Must say the staff was very good.
Don't expect too much from this place and you will be pleasantly surprised. If you envision the perfect holiday you'll be disappointed.

the room this year service was fine cleaners in this hotel are wonderful cant fault them they work hard and long hours local amenities are good family door jakes place uncle festers sue place all in walking distance of the appartment IT,S just that staff in club bozak have become less since we stayed two years ago with only two of them that talk good english and if you leave the appartments to go to beach every day as we do you get looked down upon and if you leave appartments for meals you get told by the manger i thought you two had died ive had a good holiday this year in turkey but only due to myself organizing my own time and space when i asked if sunday lunch was being served this year i was told not everybody likes sunday lunch british style well considering how many brits were there i thing it would of been worth doing i will return to turkey but not at bozok

Second visit to Gumbet and Club Bozok Apartments. Second time as good as first. Friendly staff specially at bar Ahmed & Suat top guys!! Lovely food at great prices at pool bar and if it's not on menu the chef will specially for you. Security/porter man will carry all
your cases up the stairs to your
room in one go.
Rooms clean and well kept. Bathroom could of done with some attention as shower door hanging off and taps leaking. No toilet rolls supplied told to go to supermarket if you need them by cleaners. Towels and bed sheets changed
every three days. Air conditioning only in bedroom so if you have more then two people staying in room using sofa bed the only breeze you get if any is from leaving balcony door and window open. Pool cleaned every day (early morning) No lifts throughout apartments all stairs. Not much entertainment of an evening but bar street only 5 mins walk away where there's everything from restaurants to bars. Visit bar 20 fun pub up by the windmill for great nights entertainment. All in all a top holiday at Gumbet and Club Bozok Apartments. Would defo. recommend and will defo. be going back.
