This was our first holiday abroad together so we thought to keep our prices down we would stay 18-30. we stayed at hotel eski cesme for 1week and im glad it was just a week. we first arrived staff were friendly helped take our bags etc. the next day we went back the pool area and it was filthy; dirty towels and cans everywhere! we had also paid for bed and breakfast and we had to pay for it! we also found out 3days into the holiday; if you wanted your room cleaned you had to hand then your key as they only had one key... the rooms were dirty when we arrived and had to pay a £20 deposit which we knew nothing about. you weren't allowed to bring food and drinks into the hotel unless you bought it on their. I would not reccommend anyone to stay here.

Myself and my girlfriend have just arrived home from a 2 week stay in this hotel and reading the other reviews has surprised me. As soon as we arrived the staff were waiting for us with a friendly smile and helped with our bags. The rooms are a good size and were cleaned every two days with a fresh towel each time. The pool is a good size and is a great area for catching the sun. The pool bar looks great and is not as expensive as other reviews are making out. Also it is open 24 hrs a day! The best part of this hotel I found was the very friendly staff. Morat the bar manager and his colleagues are more than happy to help and made our holiday an unforgetable experience and will be keeping in touch with them. Overall I think this hotel was great and would highly recomend this to anyone interested in having a great time.

I stayed in this hotel with friends. I must admit we did get an excellent priced holiday but believe me it would have been well worth paying extra not to stay in this hotel. The staff were rude and intimidating. Prices for drinks were sky high. Pool was very small and sun loungers looked like they had survived World War II. Fresh bedding and towels werent supplied in whole week of stay. I would strongly recommend against staying in this hotel. Gumbet itself is a lovely place and in general the people there were very friendly, just a shame they werent at this hotel.

The staff were rude and tried to charge us £20 for a sheet because we had spilt orange juice on it. When the room was cleaned they never changed the sheets or towels. Our room led straight onto the bar terrace therefore we had to constantly have our curtains shut. The bar prices were ridiculous and we were informed that we were not even allowed water in the room unless we bought it from the bar. The pool was tiny and only had enough room for about 15 people. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying at this hotel to think again.
