I stayed in the apartments in september, it is true you get one toilet roll and have to pay for the rest they are around £2 for 4. We were given the apartment right next to the bar it could be quite noisy on a night so no good for those who want an early night.
We were also unable to open the curtains as the view was either the bar or a hedge with old dirty chairs piled up against it, our balcony was also next to the bar so we never used that.

We had been there 6 days and asked reception if we could have clean towels and bedding as they had not been changed, all the cleaner had done was sweep the floor every night. We were told they should be changed every three days, however we had to ask for them every time we wanted them to be changed as for some reason the cleaners never did it without being asked.
The cleaners never came to our apartment until around 7:30/8:00pm every night this is impractical if your getting ready to go back out, i have never stayed somewhere where the cleaners came in so late.

On the last day we returned to the apartment around half seven to see the apartment door wide open, nothing had been taken but the maids had been in not only had they not locked the door they left it wide open.

The pool does have a certain smell of sewage it is worse in certain areas so if you do go pick where you sit carefully as it does get stronger as the day goes on.

I wouldnt go to these apartments again and i would not recommend them to anyone else either.

We have just come back from a weeks holiday we requested a room with a pool view and a cot but we got neither we were put out in the overflow block accross the road from the main area. The apartment was of good size but it was a disgrace the toilet had a pipe that everytime u sat on the loo is was sticking into ur [--] not to mension the blockage in the loo there was a hole in the roof of the bathroom !!! The area around the pool was not clean and the smell would turn you right off from spending the day by the pool just as well the beach was close. There idea of cleaning was to sweep the floor and give clean towels must of which are well gone past there sell by date !!! We did happen upon a lovely restaurant the red dragon the food and service was excelent I would go back to gumbet but will stay well away from club paloma

im just back from a selfcatering week in club paloma. the swimming pool was very good. ate a couple of meals at restaurant, it was ok. the room's were basic but very clean.
the beds were changed everyday and apartment cleaned every day and clean towels everyday.. air con was 70 lira a week which is about £32. bottles of water were 1lira about 45p and safe was 30lira about £14 for a week. there was no entertainment at night but we went out every night. tv in apartment was crap. my hol was cheap so it was better than i was expecting.

Looking through the reviews on Trip Advisor was the basis on which we booked this holiday. Granted it was cheap (well cheaper than others) Theres a saying "You get what you pay for" well you certainly do (or dont) here. We booked a 14night break at half board.
On arrival you are allocated only 1 toilet roll and this is expected to last you the duration of your stay, otherwise you have to buy your own, (at high prices may I add) Turkey used to be the place to go for cheapness in particular, but everything was soooo expensive. A bottle of water was £2, a glass of coke £4 (Example of apartment prices) Rooms are only cleaned twice per week according to hotel managment (Does not state this in itinery) Towels are only changed twice per week too. The food (well if thats what you call it) consists of a buffett laid out beside the swimming pool, it is half covered with cling film but the other half is left uncovered and in the sun, so dont be suprsed to see the salimi and cheese curled up at the edges, the buffet is practically the same every night, as is the breakfast every morning. Very basic foods and if you dont mind sharing with the stray cats that walk across the table helping themselves then you should enjoy it. There is NO entertainment what so ever apart from Tuesday night, which by the way you are expected to pay extra for (25 Lira per person) bearing in mind you have already paid for your food, but you are expected to pay again or you are unable to eat.
The pool is clean and cleaned daily (shame the rooms are not)
The Bar manager Eddie is probably the only member of staff that relates to you and is in fact very nice.
Air conditioning does not come in woth your price, you are expected to pay £10 (english money) per day for the pleasure, internet access costs £2.50 per hour.
The reviews that I read were really good, (maybe written by staff members)but I am a very down to earth honest person that expects nothing accept basic hygene, and edible food, as I previously stated you get what you pay for, but honestly, even if I had paid £100 per week here I would have said it was too much.
If you decide to book these apartments for your destination dont say you hav'nt been warned ..... Good Luck
