was in turkey for 7 days with my dad and sister and her boyfriend, enjoyed it very much could not best it for the price we payed for it! the staff where great at the start but we only had one breakfast in the week and they didnt like the fact we didnt eat there i think they took it to offence and didnt talk to us.
Fags and money went missing out our apartment but other than that it was clean and tidy, pool was tidy and clean..
i would go back again for £10 a night each was great!

Me and my husband stayed here for 2 weeks with our 12 year old, i am a travel agent and have been to many places all over europe and further and we could not fault a single thing!!! This is one of the best places i have stayed... All the staff were very nice and could not do enough for us! The rooms were cleaned everyday and we had fresh towels every 3 days, if the maids forget to give them you all you need to do is ask and they will be more than happy to give you new! Air con was brill we just left the electric key in all the time and had it on constant, and also purchased a safe this was around 200 lira for air con and safe whilst our stay... you get a fob key when you arrive which you top up on the reception so instead of using money you use this... there is also a supermarket on site too. there is 2 parts of paloma one with the big pool and then next to it there is a smallish complex with a smaller pool, our balcony was right infront of it! we also had family staying in our second week and they arranged for them to stay next door from us which was lovely!!! we made friends with the bar man EDDY :) who organised it all for our family to stay with us! he his sooo nice and we do miss him very much! we cannot fault anything in the paloma we loved turkish night that much we did it again the second week :D we are definatley going to return in october and so on we have found a place for life!!!! I just spent a week at Paloma Apartments, in Gümbet, Bodrum Peninsula on the Turkish coast. I went there with my granddaughter, 5 ½ yrs old, on our first holiday for just the two of us. Didn’t know what to expect, but we had a great time. Paloma Apartment appeared to be the perfect holiday place for us with 2 big pools and 2 children’s pools, so she just loved it. The apartment was spacious and clean. The staff was excellent – very service minded and extremely friendly. They treated my granddaughter like a little princess, gave her free kids drink, ice-cream etc. We had half board, but must admit the food was quite bland, and there was very little food for children, especially a bit strange as this was a family place. They were nice though, when she wanted fried eggs, they served her that right away. The apartment was close to the center and the beach, and with easy access to Bodrum town by minibus. We also took a 20 minute boat-trip to Kos, Greece, spent a day at the Aqua Park, went to the Bodrum castle etc. So yes, we had a very good time. Wouldn’t mind to go back again for a relaxing holiday.

returned last week from an excellent weeks holiday. we had plenty of free toilet rolls never ran out. the cleaners were lovely friendly people never came in while we were in always waited till we were out clean bedding and towels every couple of days.even left flowers on beds and towels in shapes boats swans etc.the pool and pool area was spotless there is two pools and two toddler pools best i have seen. the only smell was the drains like wet towels not sewage like someone said .that smell was all over gumbet not just hotel pool only smelt them a couple of times. yes there is a strange pipe on toilet but not big enough to touch your backside.the internet was free. i am a clean honest person and trust me when i say all negative reviews have been rectified .i would recommend these apartments to anyone basic large comfortable. the staff were all very friendly. overall gumbet is a great place to go. the only bad thing was the beach was more like cat litter than sand.
