Stayed at the Bitez Life Apart for 2 weeks in Aug. Really nice hotel, we stayed in a studio apartment which had small kitchen area with a fridge - ok for the two of us, The rooms were cleaned daily, bedsheets changed weekly. They have also a bar and restaurant but we like to go out for drinks and dinner. At the boulevard are many restaurants. Our favorite was the Bitez seaside restaurant in the middle of Bitez. Go there for english breakfast and see the sky news. In the evening it's the best best place, They have good food. Especially the Flambe's. The staff is friendly and funny and the price is good. if you like something new go to the turkish bath

I stayed at the Bitez Life Aparthotel at the beginning of October 2008 with my boyfried for a week. We arrived at midnight and there was no-one there at reception, until eventually the barman appeared. He carried our cases up two flights of stairs and showed us into our room, which was reasonable enough. The bathroom door wouldn't shut though (ok for a couple, but not 2 couples sharing) and it flooded everytime we had a shower! Kitchen was reasonable - limited cooking utensils though. No balcony furniture - so we moved our dining table outside - as did most other guests. No TV as advertised! The pool was a good size - but no gradual slope to the deep end - just a big, steep step. Freezing cold as well! Bar was lively enough - but there was a power cut twice throughout the week - we just went down to the restaurants but felt bad for the people still in their rooms!
The main strip of restaurants was where we spent most of our time - all very nice and reasonable. The 'beach' was non-existent - just rubble covered with sunloungers! Would highly recomment getting a cheap taxi into Gumbet for the night life - much more happening there - as the restaurants in Bitez seem to wind down at 11.00pm. Despite all of this we had a great holiday - i believe your holiday is what you make of it. I'd recommend this holiday to young, able bodied, open minded couples!

Stayed here for one week 7-14 October. The season in this complex was well over!! No food to serve(might be just as well) the only drink they had to serve seemed to be beer all the bottles on the bar were empty. There were three other couples in the complex and us and on the last few days only four people were left and we still never managed a towel or bed change, no chance in the summer I think. The apartment was a good size but very thin walls, the noise traveled and you could hear people in other apartments,high heels sould not be worn indoors. Cleaning is not top on the list in this place don't think they have heard of bleach. The week was OK but we did not pay very much for the apartment £70 so you do get what you pay for or not. Would not like to be there in High season, but we managed for the week. We were in Block B top floor and the view was fantastic. Stairs are very steep beware

going on holiday was a bit of a last min thing for me and my boyfriend, so we wanted a cheap deal so booked it through teletext holidays. I tried to read up on some reviews before booking but could hardle find any. A few weeks before we were flying out i did a silly thing by trying to find some more reviews, that i found! most of the reviews were from people who had just returned from turkey - bitez life apart and moaned on abt how horrible it was and how dirty it was and no clean towels or sheets and that the staff were horrible. That then got me anxious that the holiday was going to be a waste of time, as everything would go wrong. Everyone incouraged me that that was there opinion, and rightly so you hardly spend any time in the rooms anyway. When we arrived it was late around 12 midnight and we booked in and were taken to our room, luckily we were given a great room with hardle any stairs to climb (as the hotel itself was built slightly up hill so to get to some rooms there was a few steps). everything looked clean and tidy, clean sheets and towels, the kitchen was small but fine for us as we were eating out all the time on a nite and just had bread, jam, crisps, cheese and salami to eat for lunch that u could get from the downstairs little shop that was very cheap. we than went to the bar and had a drink (most small places do tabs so whatever u get from the bar goes onto a tab and pay for it when u like, food, drink ect) the bar man was great he was called Sarp and made conversation with everyone as he could speak great english and was very interested in learning more and more. i had heard some things said from other holiday makers that previous staff hadnt been to good as there english wasnt good so they diddnt interact.

Bitez life aparthotel is right at the end of the bitez beach strip directly behind the harbour, it is a lovely walk to and from the main strip in bitez for food and drink and only takes about 5 mins. A boat trip is highly recomended not on a big boat thow, only on a 8/12 seated boat as it is more personal (liz's boat trip is good) every restaurant in bitez is brilliant amazing food.

bitez is smaller and quiet but if clubbing and more restaurants and bars is more ur thing a taxi to gumbet is 10lira around £5 and gumbet is a great night out and better for shopping, even thow they do hassle u more in gumbet than in bitez.
u can also get a dolmbus to bodrum that pick u up from nearly outside

the hotel (just by the tree and the bench).
overall my boyfriend and i really enjoyed staying in bitez (as it was are 2nd year) and the bitez life aparthotel was really nice to and i would go and stay back there again!
