just got back from smallworld hotel at 1am 13/09/2011 me and my girlfriend wish to thank all the staff who work there best to make sure your stay is as nice us ours was. a big hello to murat. this hotel is lovley in a nice location away the main strip yet easy enough to walk down too 2 min. the food in the hotel is lovley just ask nothing is to much for owners and murat to sort out. just like to thank you all again and were looking forward to seeing you all again soon. big hello to pat and ruth from vince and annmarie thanks for making our holiday special and we did have a giggle looking forward to seeing you again soon

I’m sat here at work wishing I was sat at the bar in Bitez!

The perfect blend of hotel, staff and guests really went together beautifully to make this the most enjoyable holiday my partner and I have had.

Our room was not large, but was clean and comfortable, with a daily visit from the maid and well ventilated so the temperature was bearable when returning from a day on the beach. Being Scottish I find walk-in freezers a little on the warm side, but the air-conditioning worked a treat and wasn’t overly noisy when left on overnight.
The bar, usually manned by the hotel manager Murat (apologies if that’s misspelled!) is ideal for the size of the hotel, and priced inline with the rest of the Bitez. We arrived from a damp and dismal UK at about 8pm to be greeted by a great group of the hotel guests having a drink before dinner. Everyone said hello and made us feel immediately welcome.

Because of the small size of the hotel you see all of the other guests with such regularity, on the beach, at the restaurants, even waving as we passed each other on separate Jeep Safaris that you cannot help but become friends! Or perhaps we were just lucky! Either way, we twice ended up going to the nearby Yali Meyhanesi as a group of about 16 and enjoying a great night of Turkish food and Irish songs!

The beach is a three minute walk away. All of the sun-beds are free but you’re expected to use the connected restaurant’s facilities, which is a fair trade. We stayed in the Regal hotel’s area and their waiting service was absolutely fine; almost always available but not overbearing.

Overall, I cannot recommend Small World, and Bitez enough. If you are looking for a relaxing, summer holiday this is the place.

My husband and I returned home on 15th august after a 2 week holiday, my husband was a little unsure about going to turkey but he as well as myself had an amazing time, small world is in a brilliant location, 2 min walk to the beach and all the great restaurants, the room was fine with plenty of storage space which is something that you don't often find, rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and the very helpful, friendly staff were constantly cleaning the pool area and surroundings, all the other guests were very welcoming towards us and it really was like being away with family. It's not very often that we go away and think to ourselves we would like to come back here next year but that is defiantly how we feel about this place, at times it was so lovely and quiet around the pool it felt that you were in your own villa. So if you are looking for a nice quiet, friendly hotel in a great location do not hesitate to book! Ruth & Dean xx

What can I say. After a horrid year this was a much needed holiday and I can only say it was exactly what we wanted. The hotel was clean, the room spotless. The people we met are hopefully friends for life, I would like to thank everyone for makeing it such a lovely holiday. We also came home and booked for next year. We ate in the hotel everyday at lunch time, the food was good and reasonable.
if you visit ,there are plenty of places to eat. You must try the following, Yali's, this restaurant is 2 mins walk, we celebrated our 30th Anniversary there. Dilek could not do enough for us , there were 16 of us , she put music on and stayed open until we had had enough.
Her husband sells boat trips near the cashpoints on the beach, book through him, he then returns later and we sat up drinking and singing with him.
There is a restaurant called Narcicegi , it is not along the beach front, it is by the taxi rank. Try the chicken tornadeo and chicken tortilla's (delicious)
Other restaurants to try, Almera,Pagoda and of course the temple bar.
The hotel has its own boat, you need some-one to organise a trip, it holds 12 people and supplies a delicious lunch.
