If you go thinking it is really 3 star standard then you will be disappointed-in our opinion,as a family ,it was NOT 3 star. However, for the price we paid for our 1 week stay here,we were pleased overall. The pool area is super with really pretty surroundings-the flowers and trees really do make the hotel a great place to relax in.You can always get a sun lounger and our room was right by the pool (as are a lot of the rooms)making your day totally stress free if you are hanging around the pool for the day-the kids were so happy to be able to pop in and out of the room and grab a drink whenever they felt like it. The Staff in the Supermarket are really really friendly and helpful(especially Mujdat) who can`t do enough for you-to the point where they will blow up your seabeds , lilos etc... for you with their compressor anytime. It is handy to have the Supermarket literally on your doorstep should you need it , although it is overpriced and best avoided if you can get to a supermarket that charges real Turkish prices. The beach is soooo handy-literally a 2 minute walk from the bottom end of the hotel. We were NEVER disturbed at night by loud music etc.........it was ideal for us with having children. The location is ideal in this respect as it is away from the beach area which is where most of the entertainment happens.Cleaners came very single day and we never had to ask for clean towels etc...they were provided on a regular basis. The room/apartment is generally fine. Nice and spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and cutlery and dishes etc..we found to be very clean. It does need modernising though and we were told that they are going to refurbish all rooms this winter. The bathroom was fine but perhaps it would be an idea for the hotel to leave you some basic stuff such as toilet bleach etc ..for the bathroom to be the same standard as your own. They also need to think about providing towels or bath mats for the floor. It drove me insane that the bathroom floor was constantly wet and god knows how many times I had to wipe it down with my own towel (which I binned after the holiday!!) I did get a terrible rash all over my arm BUT cannot be sure wether this was prickly heat (it was 45 degrees every day)or an over zealous use of chlorine in the pool?? We met some lovely people in the hotel and they were convinced it was because of too much chlorine in the pool. If this is the case, then it is a shame as apart from that I can`t really complain about the pool area. The biggest disappointmet to me were the staff-Bar Staff in particular. Having previously lived in Turkey for 5 years, I was really surprised at their poor relationships with the guests. The bottom bar (by the supermarket) could be a real buzzing place but the barmen simply did not make any effort to talk with guests or connect-which, for Turkey, is a shocker as Turkish people are usually so warm and friendly. These guys couldn`t care less wether you were enjoying yourself or not-they literally served you a drink and that was that-no conversation at all.The Bar Manager was unbelievably arrogant and didn`t acknowledge me or my family once during the whole stay. The Bar Manager and his staff were very poor-they have a lot to learn about relationships with guestsetc......we very rarely had a drink at the bar because of this. But of course, if you are female, single and aged between 15-?? then I am sure you will find the bar staff very attentive!!:)
