As a family of four we arrived at around 2am, the hotel entrance was beautiful. We where then taken out of the hotel to our room... down lots of steps (no light o guide us). Our room was right next to the delivery entrance, we had two rooms which had two single beds and just enough room to move either side. One had no electric, both had no air con, and no water - could'nt even flush the toilet. There where bugs crawling in and out of both room, so we had to sleep with the door open and duvets over our entier bodies so we didnt get walked over by bugs. We then asked for some water to be brought to our room, still being arounf 25 degrees at the time we where told we had to pay 4lira for small bottles of water.
We where here for two weeks, and we told reception that this wasnt the room we booked etc and where told that we had to pay to move rooms (the reception manager is very arrogant and feels its hassle to help anyone).
We waited until we had a meeting with the rep to bring this up, low and behold 85% of guests in the meeting complained about the standards. The rep told us that all the information given to us was wrong, Thomson had really old information and used the wrong paperwork/system for our booking. We where only being moved room if we signed a form saying we wouldnt complain about the hotel and Thomson or write bad reviews, luckily we got our room and avoided her so we didnt sign anything!! So, after the 1st week we got to move rooms to a much nicer cleaner room! Although we had some sort of flea/tick in the rooms we sucked it up and got on with it.
We went on a safari on one of the days, so naturally ordered packed luches for four people. When we went to collect this we where given 3 ham rolls, when we asked where the 4th one was we were told 'the chef forgot sorry'...
General clenilieness varies, some aresa are immaculate some are not so much. My daughter was ill one day so stayed in the room. The housekeeper came to clean the room and she tunred the sheet over and tucked i back in. I get that they probabaly had a full hotel but its 40 degrees and sweaty nights!!!!!
The entertainment boys are really good, activities throughout the day etc. The childrens entertainement is a bit weird, a young blonde girl dressed to go out clubbing (boobs & bum out) dancing around singing childrens songs. The veiws are amazing, and food is good as long as your not fussy. I advise everyone to have a Turkish bath this sets your up for the tanning, especially as its 40 degrees out there!!
