I booked this hotel from the reviews and I have to say they were all correct, It is 4 minutes from the best side of the beach. Really friendly helpful staff. The apartments are spotless and the showers great. There are loads of little extra's - Pool great and generally there was nothing bad I could say about the place except one week is not enough

We had a lovely week here, the apartments, gardens and pool are beautifully maintained, clean and attractive. Large apartments, good shower and comfy bed. Pool is exceptionally clean, with lilos provided so you can float about in utter tranquillity. Very quiet when we were there at the end of September. Owners and staff very friendly and attentive, Good breakfast served under the mulberry tree which is shaded and quiet. Great location, a two minute walk to the beach but in a quiet area, although a road is close it is not very busy. Would have got five stars but no towels provided for the sunbeds, and area around pool for sunbathing is quite small. But a great place and would highly recommend it.

We have just returned from yet another stay at Mies.As usual it was home away from home.the high standards of cleanlieness continue,and every thing still looks fresh.There are one or two things I noticed this year,one towel had a small hole in it which any where else may be normal,but as this is Mies it was unusual.Thoughtless guests had cut food on the work top without using the cutting board,I have always thought the wardrobe was too small.O.K.I have had to think hard of some thing negative to say,but thats all I can think of.The pool area is perfect,the maderin & olive trees compete with the banana plants to offer plenty of shade. The cushions on the balcony bench are a nice addition(much better for the bum).Lunch under the mullberry tree is so romantic.Prices here are much cheeper than outside the hotel,a salad,a hamburger & 2 drinks were 21tl.Altogether this is perfect for couples & families with very young children.I dont think it is suitable for children or teenagers as there is only the pool for entertainment.

Our first time to Bitez and we're so glad we chose to stay in the Meis. We booked just 6 weeks before through Thomas Cook, seems like we got lucky as many people said it gets booked up a year in advance!

Apartments are a reasonable size, all furnished in Ikea and all with a balcony/veranda. Cleaned daily, and the cleaners didn't come in until much later in the day which was great - I hate being woken up by the maid service! Always had hot water (a rarity in Turkey) and the shower was powerful. They even provide a washing line and pegs on the balcony - very helpful.

Only thing we found was that when we arrived (very late at night) we were given a twin room - we'd definitely booked a double, and the twin beds can't be pushed together so we asked to move the next morning. This was no trouble, but I guess it could be if you go in high season? The rep thought it was probably because my partner and I aren't married so have different surnames - never encountered it in Turkey before, so may be worth an email to the Meis if you're concerned. They really were very helpful, can't fault the service.

The pool area is beautiful and very quiet - we were there in September and there were enough sun loungers for everyone, apart from when some selfish people left their towels out from very early in the morning not to use the beds until gone mid-afternoon... Was quite pleased when a few of their towels blew in the pool or got sat on by the very fluffy cat (see below)!

We also were adopted by the one-eyed black and white cat - I see a previous reviewer called her Nelson, we went for 'Lisa' (after Lisa Lefteye Lopez)! She was very friendly and was found every morning and evening on our veranda wanting a cuddle. Please give her a fuss and some ham if you see her!
