“Overall enjoyable but with some things to consider”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

Stayed here at the end of august 2011 to september - very hot. 40 degrees everyday, almost too hot. pools were great with some okish music on repeat everyday. not many sunbeds available as they were all gone in the morning. always plenty on the beach however the beach is not the nicest which was a disappointment, very coarse sand which hurts your feet!

loads of places to eat and drink and waiters by the pool and beach that take your drinks/food order and you can eat it at your sun lounger which was great. prices were reasonable. drinks expensive as with any hotel but water was always our choice as it was cheapest.

ROOM

we were given a very small room with a horrible view and tiny balcony in early hours which was roasting as the air con had not been on for ages. took a few hours for the room to cool down! sink was hanging off the whole, found an ant under the duvet or should i say towel?!beds were literally on the floor. the tv looked like it was from the 80's it was tiny. also found it annoying that the air con would switch itself off everytime you took the key card out of the socket in the wall when you left the room so everytime we got back it was scoarching. after one nights stay, we complained about the room but the best they could offer was an upgrade of around almost £200 for the 2 weeks stay. after seeing the second room they offered, it was still near enough the same untill the third room it had a pool view and sea view, huge shower, bigger tv, decent bed and 2 air con machines so the room was always kept cool as one never switched off. safe in the room was broken but didnt bother complaining again as the people in reception did not speak very good english. the room was also very loud at night everynight with music from the pool bar near by and the bars outside!

the food was good at nights with plenty of choice and fresh bread. breakfast was good with variety and omettes of your choice prepared outside which was nice. gutted no full cooked english though but that's turkey.

overall good hotel but the rooms are not up to standard. as the hotel is actually 2 hotels combined, the rooms vary. we spoke to a couple and their standard room sounded much better than ours - was also on the quiet side so probably the other hotel. it's luck of the draw as to the hotels as I emailed weeks in advance about the room but had no reply until the second day of our holiday which was too late.

I would not stay here again just because of the quality of the rooms, the staff are all nice and friendly at the hotel, and u do get hassled a lot outside the hotel and sometimes get abuse if you tell them you're not interested in their stuff!

resort is deffo not as cheap as i thought it would be as drinks were still expensive but you can get good deals on burger and chips meals etc. also beware of the taxis as they are a rip off and brake down often!

“Lovely Memorable Holiday Great Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

Stayed her for a week 30th September to 7th October 2011 as a couple. We are both in our late fifties.

My son and his partner who are in their early twenties had stayed four weeks before and had highly recommended it to us.

Staff are fantastic and hotel really good. Food was very good, plentifull, and with loads of choice. Chef cooks eggs and a variety of omlettes fresh and to your liking out on the terrace for breakfast.

Entertainment is highly professional acts brought in and not your usual using the clientel for a laugh which I personally hate.

Lovely Jeckyj & Hyde character to the hotel. At the front you have the main strip with all the shops, fun, dancing and music you want along the strip. Whilst at the rear you can stroll the whole length of the bay along the path just feet away from the sea in relative peace and tranquility.

The pools and Coozy Beach Bar is at the rear of the hotel and the beach is across the main bay pathway. The beach is approximately fourty feet wide, enough for two rows of loungers, so no footballs and other games to interfere with your relaxation. Loungers were plentifull and are free as they are at most of the bars. There are also a selection of hammocks, swinging chairs and large bean bags dotted around in certain areas.

I guess it was about 80 yds from our room to the beach.
I loved it and will definately be going back.

My only critisism would be the basic rooms but in fairness I didn't mind as you only sleep there. Having said that they were well cleaned with fresh towels daily. They were spacious and have air con units.

Apparently this hotel is going All Inclusive next season and I think it may well spoil its character by losing the majority of the fantastic waiter service in the bar, around the pool and even on the beach.

Well done Parkim Ayaz and a big thank you for such a lovelly time!

Room Tip: Ask for room at the rear as the front is very noisey. Some rooms are dwarfed by palm trees and other...
