Merve apartments are perfect if you want a small, friendly resort with a very relaxing atmosphere. Julia and Selcuk made sure that we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. An excellent group of staff looked after every detail. The apartments were clean and well equipped and the location was ideal for visiting Bodrum. I will definitely be returning!!!!!

Booked this apartment after reading all positive reviews on tripadvisor. Small complex fairly quiet apart from dogs barking on and off through night. Asked for and got 3rd floor room but no afternoon sun{also requested}. In the end it didn't matter as weather cloudy. Apartments clean and spacious for 2 with limited cooking facilities and equipment. TV didn't seem to work. Shared sitting out area with next door at top of stairs. Pool initially clean but after rain very cloudy for several days. One unexpected problem was lack of hot water. Staff seemed very reluctant to put on electric immersion when no sun for solar heating. Constant pop music played around pool area which otherwise would have been pleasant. Julia friendly and did recommend excellent turkish restaurant nearby that we went to a couple of times. Bodrum is very busy. Food away from the harbour area is reasonable. We went to walk however found footpaths on the peninsular difficult to follow even with a GPS. Excellent dolmus service however we began to dread the walk to the bus station as road so busy. All in all a good holiday although we are unlikely to return.

My Wife, two daughters, grand daughter and a friend stayed here and everyone of us had a very good holiday and this was mainly down to the owners Julia and Selcuk and the staff,
They have a boat trip day and Selcuk always makes sure the boat is not over full (like most boats are) it is not over priced and transport to and from the mariana is included. The BBQ night is a very good night as you get to meet and chat to a lot more of the guest, quite often Julia and Selcuk will dine out and they invite guest along as well. They can recommend days out to suit your taste and quite often will offer to drop you off and pick you back up for a small charge. The rooms are basic but CLEAN, there is nothing that is to much trouble and that goes right from the top down to the cleaners. We will be returning.

Just returned from a wonderful fortnight at the Merve Apartments. This was our second time at these apartments, the first time just me and my husband went and we enjoyed it so much we decided to take the family back with us this year. The Merve are apartments are excellent and Julia & Selcuk and all the staff going that extra mile to make sure you feel right at home. You do have a lot of returning guests but that just goes to show how friendly and welcoming the Merve is. The apartments are spotlessly clean and very spacious. Always plenty of sun loungers by the pool and Julia are always on hand to help and advise you on places to eat etc. and arranging any outings you should wish to go on. We must recommend the boat trip & bbq which both are really good value for money and gives you the opportunity to meet with the other guests. We have already arranged to go back next year with the family. We would highly recommend these apartments to everyone no matter what age group. The Merve caters for everyone.
