“For a group of 17-18 yr old girls, this was perfect!”

I went quite a long time ago, but I have such fond memories of this hotel and the entire holiday, I simply had to write a review.

This was a holiday for a group of young friends celebrating the end of A Levels before setting off for uni. The hotel was beautiful, our arrival was smooth and the people at the reception were incredibly helpful. Our safety deposit box was fine for the whole trip, nothing went missing nor was there any dodgy behaviour on behalf of the staff.

Our room was LOVELY! Beautiful and clean, lovely sheets everything was spick and span, and it exceeded my expectations considering this was a major last minute holiday deal haha! Our room was quite far from the pool which was good, about 150m away. Aircon was beeaauuutiful at night, not loud at all. The balcony had gorgeous views of the sunset, and its just one of the most relaxing and soothing experiences...just being able to take a nap and listen to the resort (don't get me wrong it was quiet).

We just had a small complaint for reception regarding no new towels, and when we returned from the pool a few hours later they had given us plenty of towels and decorated the room with beautiful flower petals :)

The bar and restaurant were good and the staff were INCREDIBLE. They went over and above to accommodate our every request. Lovely cocktails too! As this was a bit of a boozy holiday, we thought the distance from the strip was going to be a problem, but quite the contrary! Yes it was a 10-15 minute walk, but its a pretty place, why not eh!

“Never again !”

This was our first trip to Jasmin Beach and we will never go back there - what a dump! The holiday was self catering but no proper provision was made to supply adequate utensils, crockery or cutlery etc. We had to ask every time we wanted fresh towels - only once did they supply new ones, the same day as they changed our bed linen (one change during the fortnight!!!!) and the sheets were thin and frayed. We frequently ran out of toilet roll and had to ask for more. The toilet was filthy with black mildew as was the bath and shower. The whole resort was overrun with cats which would come into your apartment if the balcony door was left open and every time we sat out they would line up looking for food. A small dustpan and brush were supplied for our use but no cleaning of the apartment or washing of floors was done in the two weeks. We arrived after a night flight and ordered a coffee from their cafe after we were allocated our apartment. It was undrinkable and served in cracked mugs - thereafter we ate out. We will never return here.

“Nice place! had a good stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

I stayed here with a friend on the 23rd september 2011. Upon arrival was pleasantly suprised, the hotel itself looked nice and modern, and reception staff were friendly. We were shown to our room by one of the staff which was N-121 I think in the back complex 2nd floor. Only thing I could complain about was we didn't have a balcony or terrace, just a window that when opened had a view of a storage room.

Our room was cleaned daily, fresh towels, so can't complain. Food was ok, nothing special just the usual sandwiches, pizzas etc. Bar staff won't really talk to you unless your a young girl. Pool area is nice, but as with any hotel could be quite hard to find a sunbed. There isn't much in the way of entertainment, except a thursday they have a "turkish night" which is really a buffet and belly dancers, which was I think 25TL.

The bar does play music until the early hours, which was fine for me and my mate since A) We are 19 and came for music and B) our room was away from the bar. There was also another pool on top of my complex with a bar, which was good but it seemed only the people in the rooms right next to it thought they were allowed to use it, I went up there with friends for a drink the one night and got stares from them

The only bad points about the hotel were the turkish bath people, who pestered me everyday about getting one, even when I constantly said no

Location wise it is great, you are literally 30m from the beach, and the main nightlife on bar street is a nice 10 minute walk up the beach, and along that beach is a good number of bars/restaurants, I recommend Windy Bay and I think it was called Denny's, Me, my friend and a group of girls we met had a nice meal on the beach with the full moon and the waves! ;) Only problem is the amount of people trying to sell things on the beach, or hand out leaflets and menu's, because when you say no they keep on and on.
I wouldn't recommend walking down the beach alone at night either, there are always people on it and the one night when walking one of the girls home 4 turkish boys were shouting abuse from a hut right by the path

Also, do NOT get into a fight with a turkish person. I promise you, 30 other turkish people will join in, it happened to some liverpool boys in our hotel, they went to hospital

But that is outside of the hotel! Jasmin Beach is a nice hotel, Enjoy!

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the bar, preferably N blocks

“Hotel is very disappointing”

The exterior of the hotel looked very pretty especially at night, and the rooms were comfortable. The location was fantastic and was right on the beach, very friendly staff and locals and just a 5 minute walk into the town of Gumbet where you can grab food, in the numerous bars and restaurants (all catering for children too, with kiddies food and play areas) there is also shops and markets and other things to do. A very safe area and a lovely town.
The Hotel itself on the other hand was like a holiday from hell. My daughter developed an ear infection on the 3rd/4th day from the strongness of the chlorine in the water. And on the first day a child was sick in the pool, it wasnt cleaned for 2 days, so that pool was out of use. The other two pools were okay, the main one was fantastic, it had an internet cafe next to it and games room, many familys bonded around there and the staff interacted with guests. There was also a snack bar. The other one was mainly for adults to relax so we rarely went up there. The one good thing about the hotel was the kids club, the kids loved it!
Throughout the mojority of the holiday we hung out at the hotel next door 'Tropicana beach' The staff there were lovely and made the kids laugh, there was always entertainment going on like the 'club dance' pool games ect and the pool was big enough for everyone without feeling crowded. They also had a snack bar and even though they new we were staying next door didn't mind us hanging there. This year we are planning on staying there.

Location fantastic. Hotel on the other hand...DREADFUL.

Room Tip: Stay next door. 100% better.

“Excellent stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2011

Went to this complex in October 2008. First room offered was within touching distance of a palm tree (there are lots) so we asked to be moved,. they willingly gave us keys to another, very dark, so my partner walked around onto the top floor (which has a pool) and found empty rooms there. We asked if we could have one and they agreed. We think this floor was not in use because it was the end of the season. Room basic, but cleaned regularly, they even decorated the beds with flowers one evening. This floor perfect for couples, bit risky for children, and lots of steps to get there, but views amazing.
