Definitely recommend the Turkish night, it was a fun experience and the food was great!

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Istankoy. My friend and her two children and myself and my two kids met up with friends who had come out a week before. This is our 2nd visit to the Istankoy and have loved it both times.
The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure the children are having fun. The food is fantastic value for money, the steaks are to die for!
The pool was quite cold as it was October but the children didnt care they swam alot.
Rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. Cannot fault the cleanliness.
Would definitely recommend for couples and famiies as it is such a friendly relaxed place.

Just returned this week from 2 weeks stay at the Hotel Istankoy and as previous people have said were a little unsure given the mixed reviews. However I have to say what a lovely hotel and a fantastic location. We had room 504 on the ground floor and whilst you could hear a little noise from the bar it was not that bad. The room was very spacious and very clean. The bathroom was a bit tired and could do with renovating. We had clean towels every day. The staff are great and a big hello to Ahmed, Femy and the other guys who couldn't do enough for us and made our stay very comfortable. The hotel is only one street back from the beachfront and very central for restaurants, bars and other local attractions. We would definitely recommend this hotel - it's economical and their standards are very high. We noticed there were a lot of people who come back every year. We are hoping to do the same. You will not be disappointed.

Just returned with my boyfriend from a weeks stay at the Hotel Istankoy. Arriving on the 17 October in the early hours, we looked out from the coach and thought mmmm! Maybe not for us and what have we done! But actually once we had checked in and were shown to our room which was clean, tidy and roomy for us we.had the best nights sleep that we have ever had, the bed was soooo comfotable, much better than some 5 * we have stayed in before. Breakfast was continental, lovely fresh bread from the bakery a few doors away. We were there on a half board basis, although you can stay B&B they have separate menus, the half board although limited was all superbly cooked and plenty of it and the homemade soups delicious. Pool area and outside eating areas very pretty, with a poolside bar too, would imagine this gets busy in the height of summer. We mainly used the hotel as a base as we like to explore the area and it was situated perfectly a 5 minute walk from bar street and a 10-15 minute stroll to the castle which is well worth a visit, so much to see. The staff were very helpful and friendly and so to was the parrot. If you want no frills, but a clean, friendly, good basic food.then this is.for you. Thank you Istankoy!
