“Excellent hotel in beautiful location”

We stayed for one week in Isil Club. The service is excellent, and the standard of the resort is excellent. The food was good, we tried more variety than we usually do, and we had no problems with stomaches.
We brought our baby and her babystroller, and there were no problems to access all but one roof terrace.
We would warmly recommend this hotel.

“Takes a bit of getting used to... but good value.”

This is one of the oldest hotels in Torba and it looks a bit old. We stayed in a suite and while it was spacious, there were a couple of problems with it. The A/C was right above the bed which made it uncomfortable to sleep while it was on. The TV was on the side wall so it was a bit awkward to watch. These however were not major problems. The only real drawback was the noise. As most main building rooms are around the pool area, it is impossible to sleep before midnight. Even during the day, napping is tough. So for people who want to relax, they should definitely get a garden room away from the main areas.
What I liked about this hotel was its layout: everything was close to each other. You didnt have to walk miles to get a glass of water, for example. I didnt use the pool but it looked big enough for everyone. The best part is its sea and the docks they'd built for tanning. You can basically spend your all day under olive trees in the shade, away from all the animation and enjoy the sea.
For children, there arent that many things to do. The mini-slide pool, however, was generally quiet and extremely clean. That was a major life-saver for my son.
Food was above average but not excellent. The desert buffet really needs improvement.
The service however was good and it was geared to making customers happy. For its price, it is a good all-inclusive.

“Its paradise!”

I spent awesome holidays! Very very very good place - in little bay, noone hotel around, so on the beach only u n ppl from hotel. Sea very very very very clean. They have an symbol of the ecologically clean sea of 2011 year. Stuff - the best in the world! From early morning to deep night are working like crazy. Almost all stuff knows english, french, even italian (!!!), even room servise ! Rooms r not big, but very comfortable , really u even dont need some better room , cuz all day spending on beach or near pool. Pool is big n very clean, sunbeds from the morning are prepared for ppl. İ not recommend to get up too early for taking a place near pool or sea, cuz i think everybody will find places. Yes, most of french tourists are impudent by taking several places from 7:00 n not using them, but , as for me, if i wanted that place, always i ll find the way to arrange. Kitchen is very good. Almost mediterranian kitchen, but there are many turkish dishes too... At all : very taste! Drinks : every launch n dinner - rakı or wine, morning - orange fresh. During day - different coctails (cosmopolitan is the best), stuff can bring to ur beach place... Water activity- as u want: canoe, banana, airbags, water-skis,jet sky. Everymorning at 11- pool activity, on 3 languages (turkish, english, french). Spa: massages all for additional payment, u can even buy a speciall composed spa programm for 2,5,7,10 days , but very expencive. Turkish hamam and sauna - free all day till 19:00. Every night (except monday) very good band are singing ( girl with beautifull voice) till 23:00. A couple of coctails even u can take to room ( for romantic night ;) ), those who wants to continue night in club, u need to go to Bodrum, but by car ... Taxi very expencive in the day, in night i dont even know, cuz we had a car. For chidren: Bozzy club near entrance: water slides, trampolines, pools .... Near big pool- little one 0,5 m deep. Realy, i recommend this hotel for everyone , who wants to spend awesome holidays n unforgottable moments.

“Not a real 5-stars”

This hotel does not comply to the 5-stars standards. To few places in restaurant, restricted space around swimmingpool. Food selection rather closer to 4-stars.

“Little differences”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 June 2011

We stayed at the club bodrum from the 28th May - 4 June, We have stayed at many 5* hotels around the world from London, Asia to Australia.

I have to say we were very impressed with the standard at the Isil club, the staff were friendly and the service was good.

Although the high percentage of people that stay in the hotel are Belgian (French speaking) and the brits being the minority, the staff make very effort to speak English to you and include you if you wish in the activities, although we never felt pressured to participate

The food at the buffet is fantastic, the hotel was only 65% full when we first arrived but by the end of the week was 95% full however we always got a table and the quality of food was always good.

Ok there is always going to be people "reserving" sunbeds but even at 95% full we had no problem getting a sun lounger.

We found the nicest spot to get the sun is on the peirs in the afternoon.

The rooms are basic but modern and spacious and personally I prefer the open plan layout

You can get cocktails made to your liking at the bar, my favourites being bloody marys, mojito's & pina coladas which all taste good with the local spirits

The little differences to me is what makes this hotel

Service is great, food is delicous with a choice to suite everbody, enertainment is good as they have a live band each day, cocktails, gym equipment, catamarans, the dining tables and sofas etc is all to a high standard.

I would say my only complaint would be that one of the staff members that brings dinks out to the pool area was bringing all the young topless girls cocktails frequently but couldn't spare the time to bring my pregnant wife a bottle of water

Would we go back to stay at the Isil ......... Defenitely

I would also like to add I hope my lucky £1 note has brought Vulcan some luck
