Perfect locatıon! 1mın walk to the beach and cheap places to eat good food.
Very frıendly feeling about the place. There was always lots going on so was great for me as a solo traveller to meet other people. Drank and smoked chicha at the bar downstaırs. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned everyday. All of the staff were frıendly and helpful. There was free ınternet and even a free phone to call anywhere ın the world...

Its not as bad as the previous comments! We didn't stay in the backpackers, but went their a lot during our stay. watching the world cup! the people who chose to stay there having a great time, and we heard no complaints! There is a good atmosphere. What do people expect for £20 a night? And the name of the place gives an indication of what they cater for. Food was good too. xx

After reading the other reviews here, I was a little hesitant to go to this hostel, but it was only for one night so that I could get to Kos, so I figured it there wasn't a lot to loose. I found it not all that bad - I had a dorm that came off of the terrace on the roof, the bathroom was pretty good (apparently the plumbing had been re-done that morning), and the staff were pretty helpful, the only thing that would have made it better was having other guests! It was a bit pricey compared to hostels in other cities, and I missed out on breakfast because the ferry left before breakfast time, but other than that, it was "OK" (but having a flick through their guestbook, it looks like it can get pretty crazy in the summer)

Bodrum Backpackers is not bad, bad - it's just that there is nothing good about it. The staff were nice, but didn't seem to have a clue (they couldn't find my reservation, they didn't have the required room and the lovely NZ guy told me that they didn't get up before 11).

The room only contained a single, uncomfortable bed, and had thin curtains, and an indoor window which let the light in all night, and a scratchy blanket. The bar downstairs was playing David Cameron speeches very loudly, and then loud music.

Yes it was cheap - but for £2 more i could have stayed in a lovely, white wahed pension.

The location is ok - but everything else is rubbish. This place is totally uncared for.

And - if I go blind I will blame Bodrum Backpackers: I was trying to put my contact lenses in in the bathroom, and the stupid motion sensors kept going off every five seconds - which led to me losing my contact lens under my eyelid.
