i stayed here with my mother and two friends, we had a great time from start to finish! we didnt want to leave, rooms are basic and cleaned every day, just chilling by the pool was good and food and drink available 24hrs a day if you required it. david and his staff were brilliant and they made our holiday, nothing was a problem and the food was great and value for money, the turkish night was very good with belly dancers and break dancers and also includes a bbq, you must experience this night, i dont understand some of these reviews being bad because our overall experience was great and we will definatley be returning this year, everything you need is within a short distance from the hotel, bodrum town centre is great for shopping and you must visit the castle too, once again thank you to david and his staff for making our holiday so enjoyable!

i have stayed here many times over the years and have met some wonderful people who have become dear friends, my stay here was complete thanks to all the staff, big thank you to davut the bar manager who is very hard working, respectful and professional in his job and his english language is exceptional,also leyla the cleaner is lovely and hard working a dear friend, suat the chef his food is gorgeous and good value for money, erkan maintenance man is a star,any problem and he will sort it asap,and ali on reception a lovely respectable young man who will sort out any problems you have, adnan and nuran the owners always made me feel welcome, the hotel is clean and tidy and rooms cleaned every day by leyla, whatever holiday your looking for i.e. just chilling by the pool or out and about every day or cooking in ur apartment then this hotel is for you and family friendly, thanks to all the staff who will make your stay wonderful, the positive reviews outweigh the negative ones so take my advice see for yourself and make your own minds up, you wont be dissapointed, the hotel is close to all amenities, bus stations, supermarkets, town, banks etc, bodrum is a wonderful place to stay and turkish people are so lovelyand helpful that nothing is a problem, when im there its home from home for me, thankyou to all staff at moonshine you are all a credit to turkish tourism!

This hotel is DIRTY...very unsafe for young children...There was four adults four children.if you dont eat and drink at the hotel bar witch is very expensive and dirty....The bar manager DIVVY David will not speak to gives you dirty looks he is a perv to women always looking at them getting in and out of pool.He spoilt are holiday made us feel very uncomfortable.one night he was hiding in bushes to see were we had been .he is scruffy wore the same clothes everyday and stinks to highheaven!!!!!!there would be random turks hanging around pool late at night .....put a chair in front of door when going to sleep felt that unsafe....the rooms were horrid no hot water ..you have to pay for air conditioning every night.. PLEASE PLEASE do not go to this sham of a hotel it should be closed down.................

We arrived on 26th in the early hours. We were greeted by friendly staff, who helped us with our bags to our room. The room was very basic and quite old fashioned. We found some mold in the shower and on the bedroom ceiling, cracks on the wall in the living rooms, cracks on the worktops in the kitchen area. Bedding however was clean, towels where changed reguarly and the airconditioning was brilliant! Overall the rooms where basic but liveable and ideal for a dirt cheap holiday. The pool was clean and refreshing, although wouldnt recomend the pool bars food. The sunbeds around the pool where nice as they had a thick non-stick cushion which made them really comfortable! Just a short walk through some narrow cobbled streets and your on the harbour which is beautiful, with lovely resturants and bars along it (sitting in the resturants along the harbour facing the boats was really relaxing) just up the road are the numerous shops that seem to go on for miles, bargaining with the shop assitants was good craic! At the other end of the harbour is the nightlife (clubs/discos/bars ect.) The streets where incredibley clean and the people where friendly and once they knew your face everytime you passed them they would have a chat with you! Overall good value for the money, and if your looking at cheap holiday, this is perfect! but dont be too fussy!
