As for a hotel with 3,5 stars Comca Manzara is a very good one. It's a walking distance to Bodrum's shopping centre and a harbour.
Hotel staff is excellent, guys do their best to help guests and speak English very well.
A big plus is arrangement of the hotel. It consists on bungalows which are scattered in a big area what makes you feel private and intimate.
The inner hotel area is very well-kept with many stone alleys and gardens all around. It's really beautiful!
Rooms are spacious, painted with a calm turquoise color. Beds are very comfortable and the AC works fine. Windows are equipped with a screen againts insects.
Some things in the room would need renovation or change (e.g. a smudgy chair or a small old tv set from late '90) but all in all it's fine (remember it's a 3,5 starts so don't expect marble in bathroom ;). The bathroom itself is clean and big enough to hold shower and wc.
There are 3 pools, two for adults and one for children. I haven't used them so have no opinion about them. There are free deckchairs all around the pools so you can lie down and have a sunbath.
There are indoor and outdoor restaurants, as well as a grill, snack bar and a drink bar. The variery of foods is rather limited, everyday you can find the same stuff for breakfast. Lunch and dinner menu are more varied and the food is tasty.
Now some disadventages:
Unfortunately EVERY night you can hear music coming from a disco. You can of course help it closing your windows and switching on the ac but it's simply annoying when repeats too often.
If you fancy to spend some time or have a drink on the beach you have to go to another hotel which owns that part of the beach and order your beverage there.
I would not recommend to swim in the sea as Bodrum is a port for yachts and boats, so water is not that clean. Better go to Torba or Gumet, you can find beautiful beaches there.
