We are 4 good friends (investment bankers and entrepreneurs) and we've been to this hotel for 4 days in Bodrum, thinking of meeting interesting people and having fun. The reality was quite different: a very quick picture of the "ambiance": most of the guests are couple or old, and the few young are very unsociable (I guess they are really coming from non-international environment, and travel very rarely)... they just stay at the pool since the morning, waiting for the poor-quality lunch..and so on until dinner...the location is ok for those who want to be quite and sleep all day, otherwise u've to look for something more in touch with city center...Bodrum as a city is ok, but really nothing exciting if you like to party with quality. Better go to Turkbuku, but I definitely recommend Ibiza or Croatia rather than Bodrum

This hotel looks great, even with the steep climb up the hill to get to it. Two swimming pools, a great view over the Bodrum bay and good-sized, clean rooms. I thought it was going to be a stress-free stay. However, as soon as I arrived and was warmly greeted with a "Hello, my friend!', I was quickly and very firmly told that I was to bring nothing! into the hotel from outside. This included water. They want you to use their "market", which is poorly equipped and has only the basics. If you hope to find healthy things to eat or snack on, you'll have to smuggle it in! I saw this happen outside the hotel - guests cramming forbidden items into their backpacks to sneak in. I am also guilty of doing this. Plus, they want euros and they charge in euros, not Turkish lira at the market and the bar. It was a kind of police state. The hotel caters to couples or more so, if you're single, don't be suprised to be ignored in the dining room. Otherwise, the staff is friendly, it's a quiet spot and there is free Internet access.

Realy lovely hotel everybody friendly food was good. Great view of Bodrum and castle. We stayed at this hotel for two weeks in August 2002, were going back to Turkey again in July 2004, but could'nt get into Bodrum so we are going to the Baba hotel in Gumbet. This will be our 3rd visit to the Bodrum and Gumbet area and have met some realy nice people who we keep intouch with, looking forward to meeting them again. Our favorite cafe in Bodrum is Munchies, we've tried most of the cafes by the sea all good. Everything is so cheap in Turkey must remember to take a empty suitcase this year so much to bring back.

The hotel appartments were gorgeous and very clean and the staff were very professional.

The hotel is very quiet. Not a lot, if any entertainment going on. However, it is only 10 minutes walk into the centre of Bodrum.

The bar at the hotel is very romantic and overlooks the whole of Bodrum and the Castle.

The food was also very nice.

However, WARNING. Be prepared to be mithered to death in Bodrum and don't even bother going in any shops or they will not only harrass you to buy something but will probably follow you. My advise is to either pretend you cannot speak English or tell them to -------.

After a few days of walking into town they remember who you are and do not bother you.
