This hotel is very tired at the edges. I can't agree with the reviewer who said only go to this hotel if you are on a tour, don't stay there then either; we were on a tour and it was the worst hotel we stayed in in Western Turkey, yet it had the highest star rating. It had no plusses; too far out of Ankara to be able to do any private sightseeing yet an unpleasant hotel.
Although on first appearance the room looked good, it was a decent size and had a balcony, on closer inspection it was very disappointing. The management needs to take a look at what their cleaners are doing; the balcony was filthy, the windows looked like no-one had ever cleaned them, surfaces were sticky or dusty and the bathroom was also dirty.
The toilet seat and lid fell off on first use (presumably just balanced there), the hairdryer was set up for a giant so had to be held high above the head to make it work and then burnt so hot it couldn't be held, the air conditioner would blow out only warm air, but on opening the windows we had to close them again because of an overwhelming smell of what can only be described as urine, maybe from a nearby farm, the corridors smelt of deisel fumes.
There was a good selection of food for dinner, but at breakfast empty containers such as yoghurt and cornflakes weren't refilled after a previous tour group had emptied them, so our group went without, also what little of things like yoghurt and cheese was there tasted very watery.
2 requests for more pillows went ignored, this was the same for others in the group. Also although the lifts look ok they aren't to be trusted, numerous people got stuck in them and although each time they started up again it was only after stressful waiting.
Quite a number of our group were given room changes because of various problems, e.g. balcony doors not closing, but were still dissatisfied.
