We stayed at the Radisson Ankara Dec 27 and although the location was good, the room itself is certainly not 5 star. The carpet was not vaccumed as I picked up strands of long hair in the room and in the bathroom. The shower stall was clogged up with hair! There was no tissue paper befitting of a 5 star establishment. The food was no big deal and the variety was limited. Definitely not a 5 star in my books!

The hotel is very far from the airport. It is approximately 25Minutes drive after landing in night at the airport. The rooms are small and little bit cramped. The restaurents dont serve anything which is cooked in front of you at the time of breakfast. The breakfast menu is more or less same. The front desk is also not too attractive, a typical chaey ga type of hotel.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ankara, from the 12th to the 13th July 2010. My party consisted of two adults and two children (aged 11 and 9 years).

We only stayed here for one night en route from Istanbul to Kars. This was a matter of regret as we found the hotel to be first rate. Our room on the 12th floor had an excellent view across central Ankara and was large and spacious. As well as free WiFi, air-conditioning, an excellent range of TV channels in English especially BBC, trouser press and two toilets; it also had a well stocked coffee machine.

We did not eat in the restaurant in the evening but did enjoy breakfast. There was a good selection of bread, cheese, cold meat, cereals, juice and a fair selection of cooked items.

We were allowed an extended check out until 1500hrs free of charge. Overall I have no hesitation in recommending this Radisson Hotel.

Excellent staff. It is very close to Ulus area. It is also near to Metro Station. The Ankara view from the room window was excellent. There wasn't swimming pool in the hotel. The hotel is located to Ulus area. In that area you should be carefull when you are wolking the street. It might be not secure for alone.
