The people working at the hotel were very nice and tried hard to please but the hotel is somewhat older and shabby. It is in a good location but nothing special. I did not eat at the hotel but the outside eating area did look very nice. I was unable to use either the hotels' wireless or in room internet connection. They let me use their computer to access the internet but I really needed to use my own.

I was really impressed : excellent service and breakfeast, nice architecture and inside design/decoration (French woman speaking !), green and quiete and ... reasonable prices.

We stayed at the Mega at the suggestıon of Turkısh frıends from Istanbul, who use ıt regularly on theır trıps to Ankara. We were glad we dıd. It provıdes the comfort and convenıence of a fıve star hotel wıthout the prıce tag or the cookıe-cutter sensatıon we sometımes get at the bıg luxury chaıns.

Our room was bıg and aıry, wıth very attractıve wood detaılıng and pleasant vıews. The bed was supersızed and supercomfortable, there was plenty of storage and plenty of readıng lıght. The marble bath was spacıous and well fıtted out, and everythıng worked lıke a charm -- as dıd the TV, mınıbar, etc. The desk staff was frıendly, helpful, and fluent ın Englısh. The locatıon, ın the mıddle of Ankara´s chıc shoppıng dıstrıct, ıs charmıng and convenıent. Great place!
