Very nice room and is comfortable...however the first night I didnt get much sleep as I arrived 5am in the morning but at 7am the Church music opposite the street kept me awake and the following night there seemed to be a lot of traffic. I payed $3000peso for deluxe room. Bathroom was nice and hot water was good. Location is perfect as Robinson's Mall is just across the road. WiFi was very good. We stayed on the 7th floor and showed a nice view of some of the city from its big window. Restraunt was way overpriced and if u get room service it is very expensive with plus plus charges. Nothing wrong with this hotel but just noisy due to the location and a bit too pricey. There were no promo rates on the room.

We stayed here for 1 night in dec 2010. We had to catch an evening flight out of Manila the next day. We got a room on the 7th floor. Though it was not on the front side, you could hear the traffic at night. The room was nice. We wanted a late checkout & they charged us for half a day for that which was convenient.

If you're paying by cash, you have to pay the entire amount when you check-in + they will take a deposit of appx. P 2000 which is refundable on check-out.
Apparently though, this is standard practice in Manila as we faced this in Hotel Copacabana Suites too in which we stayed earlier.

Pros:
Clean & spacious rooms with a fridge, aircon etc.
Big bathroom with excellent water pressure.
5 minutes walking distance from Robinson's Mall.

Cons:
If you're looking at this place for staying for airport transit, it's a bit far. Took around 45 mins coming from the airport and 1:15 on returning. Depends on the traffic and whether your taxi driver cheats you or not ;)

Tips:
When transiting through Manila, take a Yellow *metered* Airport taxi from just outside the airport. We used these twice & both times the drivers were good and didn't cheat us or anything. On the return leg, when we used a normal white cab to the airport, the cab driver took us on a loooong trip which we realized since i had GPS on my cell.
We changed our foreign exchange at the airport itself since there was no time for us to do so in Manila. Based on a trip-advisor review, we did go to the Sanry money changer at Metropoint Mall in EDSA extension, but the guard there told us that it closes by 8 p.m. (on the review, it was written that it's open till 2 a.m. which was misleading). We went there at midnight.

Later we realized that there's not that much of a difference in the prices at the airport as opposed to the city money changers. There are around 3 banks that i noticed at the airport which have a window on the arrival side before you clear the customs and the same bank has a window on the outer side (still within the airport) which you can access after you pass the customs. You can easily change the money after you reach the outside.
I compared the rates on the same day:
NAIA airport: 43.60 to a US$.
Domestic airport: 43.50
Robinson's Mall: 43.55
Puerto Princesa: 43.00

Changing my Pesos to US$ at NAIA airport while leaving manila got me a rate of 43.10.

Nice big clean rooms that feel cleaner thanks to a tiled floor. Comfortable beds. Limited toiletry but plenty of towels and excellent wide-head shower. Very good wifi reception in the room. Indifferent view and quite some noise filtering in from the street: but nothing really disturbing from 10pm to 6am. Good service. Breakfast not really worth it. Excellent location 200m from LRT on one side and same to Robinson mall on the other side, after passing a hospital.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in the hotel. The staff were helpful. The room was big and clean but a little dated for me. The hotel is accessible as it is near the LRT Pedro Gil Station and it is near the Robinson's Manila Mall (just a 3 - minute walk from the hotel). The breakfast was okay, but there wasn't anything fancy. I think I saw 2 7-Eleven shops nearby and one Mini - Stop just outside the hotel.

If you are looking for a hotel that's "no frills," comfortable and accessible, this could be one of your choices. But if you want to be "wowed" I suggest you look for another.
