On the upside:

The hotel has a good location for shopping and the rooms are ok albeit shabby and nothing like the photos - there is certainly an "interesting" interior design.

On the downside:

The rack rates for Greenhills Elan are incredibly expensive and you can easily find much better deals on other higher quality hotels in the area for much less (even including tax & service charges).

The killer is the complete incompetence of the front desk. There are a large amount of staff behind the counter and they seem completely incapable of performing basic hotelier functions - every time I went past there was a queue of people with issues and it was obvious that each resolution was taking forever.

This is a very good value hotel. The rooms are really nice and modern. The downside is that internet is not free (about 600php per 24h)!

The breakfast buffet is excellent as well. There is also a fabulous spa downstairs the building.

The location is ok. It is right accross the street from the Greenhills Mall, so for bargain shoppers that is great. However it is quiet far from the entertainment of Eastwood or Makati.

Finally, they advertise a gym and a pool. Ok the pool is not that bad. However, the gym is really a joke. dont go there to get in shape ;)

All in all, good hotel but for short stays only.

Terrible place, expensive and bad service. Not a place I would ever return to

People who like this hotel set very low standards for themselves.
